Morning Ally and everyone else who wakes up! Best wishes to your dad with his jab.

Dull and damp here. We might get rain, but then again we might not - the weather people cannot agree.

Following Saundra's pestering I have to finish the desk clear-out today. There's something about men and letting things go!

The washer is loaded and ready to go once all the neighbours are up and about.

Deliveries are due between 9:30am and 1:22pm - yes, that precise!

Ah well, I quite fancied a day in, it'll be just like normal times again.

Foggy start again, but hoping for some sun and warmth later.

Hope all goes well for you dad Ally :D

Housework morning for me - well, an hour of it. That's how long it normally takes  Then pasty making, two for tonight, the rest for the freezer. The hopefully, I'll be able to get out on the garden and get rid of some weeds. I don't know where to start

Hope Edward continues with his recovery :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Frank, it's a dull and dreary day here as well. Same as you the weather forecast is for showers and sunshine; so covering all bases :D
Ally, I'm like that on a weekend with the laptop which is why I often don't post here on a weekend - almost like once online you may as well look at emails and then you end up doing work on a weekend :D
And fingers crossed for your dad today - you must be so relieved he's getting it x
Saundra, my garden is in a terrible state and needs a good day or two to get it tidy; but just so wet. I really want to redesign it so it flows a bit better but not quite sure exactly what to put where. More pondering required I think :D. Oh and a shed tidy so things are back to how they should be - it's been a dumping ground for all sorts of cr*p
Jan, agree with Saundra - do take it easy x

Plan for me today is to make arrangements to drop off some gardening books at the special needs school that Thomas my nephew went to. They have a horticultural department (the school focuses on practical skills) but they don't have many books for the library and I've some some really good ones that I just don't use (it's all online) so happy that I've found a good new home for them. Usual work in between and pootling

have a lovely day everyone xxx

That's funny Ria as I use my laptop to zoom and check my emails.

Then it gets put down.

I use my phone and tablet for everything else.

I could, of course, check my emails on those....but I don't.

Morning all, it’s gone dull after a brighter start.

We walked Bill around the village again this morning, really really don’t fancy the mud in the woods. The paths have been made even worse due to the amount of people walking on them too.

I’m waiting for a Royal Mail delivery. I ordered some fudge yesterday for Tom for his birthday. I found a really lovely company last year in Scotland who make their own and have wonderful flavours and so I made up a gift box of a variety. The delivery time said it’d arrive within 14 days of the order being placed which is fine, his birthday isn’t until the 9th. Within an hour I’d had a despatch notification and then at 7pm an email arrived from Royal Mail saying that they’d got the package at their Edinburgh depot, this morning it’s showing as being out for delivery! Even better is that I ordered a single pack of their peanut butter fudge for myself so I can sit and enjoy that later

Have a good day all :)

Slight change of plan. Making a meatloaf instead ;)

Cleaning done, bu the floors can wait until tomorrow. Grumpy has planted three roses and he is now going to make a planter for a climbing rose, that I bought by mistake

The mist has just about gone, but feels damp outside
