Good morning everybody.

The two men who have fitted the stair lift have just left. It is very neat and well worth the cost. It will ow be easy for mrs.e to go up and down stairs.
She is still tired and had no energy. Waiting for a phone call to arrange appointments for more tests.
I hope to relax this afternoon.
No rain and the sun is trying to come out.
Vibes to anybody who needs them
Will try and post everyday.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Dry at the moment, but dull and overcast.

Good luck at the dentist Jan x
Gal I hope Tom stays clear, try not to worry.
Glad the stair lift is fitted Cruiser, hope Mrs.E's doesn't have to wait too long for her tests.

Bit of a surprise at 10am, the door bell went and it was a chap from Canterbury Hospital with E's second adapted shoe. Saves a journey, shame they didn't tell me it could be delivered before. Oh well it got me up, popped a casserole in the slow cooker for dinner this evening before starting on the shower marathon. Not much else happening today, expecting a Sainsbury's deliver later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

Dentists just rang and cancelled

As I'd forgotten to get onions and garlic, we're heading in anyway

Hope Mrs E gets the tests done soon Cruiser, keep us informed how she's getting on x

Good afternoon all. Grey and cold here.
We have been out for a paper and some eggs from a local farm.
I hope Mrs Cruiser is OK.
Stew and rice tonight.
I'm sure Tom will be OK Gal.
Have a good day, what's left of it! :)

Thanks for your kind comments everyone....it's so scary though to think it's all over the place. I felt extra vulnerable while at Lidl this morning, spent more time handwashing than usual :( Thank goodness we have both had jabs!

We've had loads of rain and/or snow this past few days with more forecast. Did I mention I hate winter?  It makes the current situation feel even worse....I LONG for longer days and sunshine!

Not sure what to make for tea tonight, I got loads of veg in so may make a stew, thanks for the idea Crommers!! ;)

I got a bit emotional last night when I got home from work - new stuff to learn and I feel we are doing so much just even being there! Then when I got in to Tom's news it put the tin lid on it.....had a few tears. I'm not coping very well atm I don't think, not sleeping right through and just feel anxious a lot :(

Have a good rest of Thursday xx

It’s totally understandable that you’re feeling out of sorts Gal; it’d be odd if you weren’t!

It’s a funny week here with Tom being home and teaching from here. I’m stuck in the house and can’t do a lot seeing as he’s taken over both the kitchen and the front room. I’m having to pick my times when/if I can hoover, when the washing machine goes on, even when the kettle or Nespresso machine are used.
I feel very unsettled.

Stew sounds a good idea Gal :) B and I have been batch cooking for the freezer this afternoon, to portion up and freeze for her to take to work on long shifts - sausage casserole, spicy mince and rice, and Bolognese pasta.

(((((Hugs)))))) It's such a difficult time at the moment xxx
