Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny and warm already morning 8-) Hitting the 20's plus for the next 10 days :Hi:

Treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast this morning and then will hit the garden again  Grumpy will finish off the strimming and I'm giving sitting down on the gravel a miss. It hurts to shuffle along, so will hit the weeds with my witches brew instead. And if the ground is dry enough, will attack a couple of flower beds. Also give my back a rest.

Trying an experiment for dinner. We love the pork tenderloin and garlic we have at a restaurant in Ourique, so will be trying to emulate it. I've spoken to a few cheffy friends and I think it should be okay. And a rather good bottle of red, to go with it ;)

Continued vibes for Cruiser and Mrs e xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Change of plan.

Too nice to stay in so hubadub suggested we go out for lunch. I didn't need asking twice.

My friend in Portugal is very glad of some decent weather at last Jan. She said it's been so wet and cold.

Wet, cold, windy, frosty. The worst winter since we've been here. Also feels like the longest

Where is your friend Ally?

They live in Evora Jan.

They moved there two years ago after 15 years of living on the coast. They were finding winter on the Atlantic too much for them. :?

Love Evora. Very hot in the summer though, full of tourists too, when they can. I have friends there too :D Will be paying a visit when we can :D

Enjoy being out. I'm also going out - down to the bin and the recycling

Morning all, another wet and miserable day :( Yesterday turned out to be a good day (but not weather wise!) We went for a walk in the awful weather. When we got back, Edward was prepping the dinner and suggested asking my sister would she like to join us - she is a bit outside the 5km limit but lives on her own, so she was delighted, and she arrived with a lovely homemade ginger cake. We had a pleasant few hours. Today I’ll concentrate on finishing the nightie for Kellie’s doll, I cleared the ironing yesterday so all I plan to do today is make some soup. Hope Cruiser and Mrs.e got a good night’s sleep.

I’m sure I’ve said this before, but a smallish housing estate here is called Evora Park.

Good morning all, it’s grey and chilly here.

We’ve been for a long walk with Bill, I’ve cut John’s hair and now he’s gone for a run.

Joe’s been for his run. He’s been going twice a week, socially distanced, with Paul over the road. Joe and John have entered into a half marathon in the Autumn and Paul’s training Joe  Paul is ex-army, works in a military preparation college and competes in Iron Man events (when I say competes, he’s represented Great Britain), so Joe’s 3 miles around the streets have now built up to 8 miles on all terrain regardless of what the weather’s doing, heavy snow falling hasn’t stopped them - and Joe’s loving it!! :D

Cottage pie for dinner.

Love and thoughts are with Cruiser and Mrs E xx

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all.
Baltic outside again with an icy wind.
We went to Tesco yesterday and the queue to get in was way too long for us; stand outside in that freezing wind? Not likely.
Nor is it likely today.
I hope the Cruisers had a better night; enjoy the meal out Ally and the trip to the bin Jan!
Chicken for our dinner Jo. Oc, guests who turn up with cake are the best!
Footie later but another quiet one for us here.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

Baltic here with a touch of Arctic thrown in. Possible freezing rain forecast till 3pm and dangerous conditions on the roads and paths as if falls on sub-zero ground sooo, I'm not going out.

Enjoy all your cakes and meals and recycling everyone and best wishes to the Cruisers.

I am cranking up the cauldron for for a super hot curry as the sun goes down. What am I saying? It has never got up!
