Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely sunny morning :Hi: And the wind has dropped, so will feel warmer.

Ironing this morning, then will head out and do the weeding I was supposed to do yesterday, but got into a book, and that was the afternoon - puff - gone

Grumpy is under orders not to do anything today. He hurt his back on Sunday and he is actually being good, which means it hurts. He's as stubborn as me, that man

Meatballs and spaghetti for us tonight, in a mushroom sauce.

Continued get better hugs for Mrs e x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Oh, and Oliver (daughters eldest, is 12 today  Twelve? Berlimey  )

My Covid test result is back and it’s negative. I have the most horrific cold though.

I’m going to spend most of the day sitting feeling sorry for myself.

Morning all, it’s a nice morning, and when I went to the loo at 7am, I noticed it was quite bright outside which is encouraging. Today will be mostly knitting, although I might waft a duster around before the furniture disappears under the dust  Edward will be making pancakes later.

Good moring ladies, and everyone else when you get up!

High clouds, hazy sunshine and quite mild here, we might get into double figures in the afternoon. :o

I am about to give the bathroom and toilet a good grounding now that I have new cleaning materials in then I'm off on a Lion hunt (it's actually a new lampshades or lamps hunt as the old ones have seen better days and are doing my head in).

Stay safe, warm and have a good day.

Good morning all, it’s quite sunny now although rain is forecast for this afternoon.

Bill’s been walked, I’ve done the ironing, mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned the bathrooms.

Yesterday brought this week’s problem with my parents. I phoned to see how they’d got on with our Dyson charger (fine, so it’s obviously their charger at fault) and was told that the iron had broke, so they’d got out their spare one and that tripped the fuse box. Dad then said “I don’t know what we’re going to do for an iron now...”. I wish they’d just ask for help rather than hinting. It’s the same if they need to go somewhere, they’ll say “I don’t know how we’re going to get there....” and leave it hanging there waiting for an offer.
I offered to get one from Amazon. Dad didn’t want one from there, he wanted one from Argos because he likes their returns policy. Only problem being that if it needs to be returned at any point in the future they can’t flippin’ get to Argos because the town centre one has closed. Eventually found one that suitable and was available for delivery. “How much is delivery.” “ £3.95 Dad.” “Oh, I’d better see if your Mom wants to pay that.” “When do they do free delivery?” “They don’t Dad, it’s always £3.95.” “Oh.”
They have no qualms about paying for delivery for plants or tat out of the Sunday supplements!
Had a right headache by the time the order was placed.

Sending my best wishes to Cruiser and Mrs E x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Very wet here

Hope Grumpy's back eases as the day goes on Jan.
Good news about your Covid result Debih, hope your cold clears soon.
Oh dear, what a palaver Jo.

E had a phone call from the RNOH late yesterday afternoon. He needs to have x-rays done before seeing Mr.Palmer so could he get there an hour earlier. Bit late to amend his transport, but luckily it's all okay. He has to be ready for collection 4hrs before the appointment so it's going to be an early rise tomorrow as he'll have to be up and dressed by 6am :o

Nothing much happening today, another lazy day beckons.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Jo how frustrating!!! Although I do admit to having a wry smile whilst reading your post....typical eh?

Debih chuffed you're negative - wish I was :( Another 7 days indoors.....after a previous 9.....it's kind of worse now the weather is a bit better as I REALLY want to go outside, but I know I can't. I got a phone call from Test and Trace this morning, checking up on me! Well she said making sure I felt ok and was there anything I wanted to ask....nope, thank you. I seem to have lost my taste a bit too now as well as my smell so that's fun.

I've been asked to make pancakes for Amy and Tom, as apparently they tried the other day and failed....she said to my Tom that it was traditional she have some here, I cannot remember a single time that she has - other than when she was little! I'm not even sure it'll be ok to do them, after all I HAVE got Covid!! Tom wants to thank her for walking the dogs last week when he couldn't....he can't make them either so she might as well have just eaten the failed ones they made! I mean you can buy them ready made!! They really are a hopeless couple!!

Hope you all have a good day xxx

Afternoon everyone :)

Debih that's great news! I hope your cold clears up soon xx

Best wishes for E's appointment tomorrow Jen xx

Jo, I empathise xx

Gal, actually I agree, I don't think it's safe for you to make food for anyone else :? They're not coming to the house, are they? :?

I walked up to Morrisons this morning, then up to see D. Not long been home. Becky is going to attempt sugar-free pancakes later  That should be interesting :P

Love to all :) xx
