Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Good luck at the doctor's Jan.
Glad your jab went smoothly Crommers, which one did you have?
Thinking of Cruiser and Mrs.E.

Well we've been busy with the phone this morning. First it was the pre-op team to book a phone questionnaire session with E for Monday. A bit later it was Mr.Palmers secretary to ask if 5th March was okay for the op providing all the tests yesterday are satisfactory. We did query what Mr.P said about the vaccine, but apparently it's not a problem as it will be over 3 weeks. So, all being well, it looks like it's all systems go. I think we're both a little shell shocked it's all moving so fast, but with past experience of the RNOH they don't hang around once a decision's been made. A bit of deep breathing going on here, but it's not for another two weeks and we both know better sooner than later.

Not much else happening today, expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all - nothing much to report here. It's cloudy and a bit grim but we have had a sunny spell :D Tom's not at work today, nothing booked, so he's been hovering....that's HOVERING, not hoovering LOL!! Washing his car inside and out, doing a couple of jobs outside, including a click and collect from Matalan for me but sadly it isn't suitable....I asked if he'd give my car a run out as its 2 weeks since it was last out....he popped to my fav takeout cafe and got a latte and a caramel blondie 8-) But I've also noticed a spot of oil on the garage floor :? Hope it's nothing serious.

Great news re E, Jen - sooner the better then it's out of the way and you have less time to worry about it x

Crommers glad you have had the vaccine! x

Sad news re the seal pup Saundra....you must have had some big tides!! :(

Ria I was covered in white paint after yesterday's painting, luckily it being satin finish, it washes off easily - hopefully yours is the same 8-)

Good afternoon everybody.

Shopping at Sainsbury's and Tesco this morning. A friend came and sat with mrs.e while I went shopping. I do not like leaving her for a long time on her own.
If anybody quereis the visit I will say she is a carer.
Then this afternoon I have been ironing and cleaning.
No chabnge in mrs.e's condition. But she does smile and talk sometimes.
Thank you all for the vibes

Oh dear Cruiser, that's so sad.

Great news for E, Jen. Best to get it over and done with quickly.

Doc's went okay. My cholesterol is a little high - but then again, we've been really naughty with cooked breatfast more often and not doing enough exercise. So I've got some natural yogurt and bananas, always works for me. Grumpy has to take an extra bp tablet a day. And he will be having a 24 hour heart monitor thingy every year, from now on.

I've got a skin disease   I thought it was eczema, but she told me it's something else, which I can't pronounce. The cream for it is over 40€ but got it for just over 4€ :Hi: And get out in the sun more - now that we have sun.

We got back, sat outside in the sun and had a phone call from Jan. They had seen us as they drove down the track, so popped up for a couple of beers and a chat. They sat out on the gravel, far enough away.

Stew just about to go on the fire - saves on gas
