I'm off for my walk shortly then back to very happily laze around at home. :D :cute:

My neighbour brought round a dozen eggs last night so spinach and onion tortilla for dinner tonight. :D

Have a good day.

Thinking of Crommers and Mrs C.

Good morning. Dull and drizzly!

Up early, currently awaiting a BT engineer. The broadband started dropping out at regular intervals back at the start of the month, weirdly at almost exact 30 minute intervals, and going off for between 10 and 30 seconds before the Hub reboots itself. Annoying disruption if you're watching iPlayer or even reading pages on the 'net. I first reported the fault 04/02 and BT said after a week or so they'd fixed a problem somewhere on their cabling away from the house, which solved the issue for about 48 hours before it resurrected itself! So reported it again, and now they are on their way. I suspect it may be something to do with the rolling out of high-speed fibre-optic in the town because (a) we've been inundated with Openreach vans and workmen for the last three months or so, (b) they've certainly laid new cabling in part of our road, and (c) everyone's complaining about broadband disruption on the town's FB page! So we shall see ....

Have a good day, all!

Morning everyone

Wet nd not that warm

How lovely Saundra :Hi: :Hi: have a lovely, lovely day :D :D

Ossie, my sympathy, I understand completely. As we're on a dodgy wifi signal, mine can freeze, cut out altogether or be super whizzy - all in the space of five minutes :cute:

Dentist for me this morning. Just hope they can finally sort out this blasted crown.

Popping on to see Jan on my way back - she's a wealth of knowledge about docs in the Algarve and need advice on the best one for Grumpy's eye op.

Back to curry making and dinner prepping. Knew it would be cold and not nice, so chicken and mushroom pie for dinner.

Hugs for the Crommers family and also the Cruisers xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

The BT engineer arrived soon after 8:00 and had it fixed by 08:45! Easy peasy, according to him.

A combination of circumstances, if I understand it correctly - the fibre-optic roll-out had increased the broadband speed into the house to an extent that it was causing a punch-up with the telephone signal :? and because I'd recently moved the telephone so it was connected to the master socket rather than the secondary socket, the telephone was winning the fight! If that makes sense ....

Anyway, the master socket is now the one where the router is (in the spare bedroom / study), and the secondary socket is where the master one used to be (in the hallway). And the broadband speed has now gone up from 7.2mbs (last night) to 38.0mbs (today) :D

Morning all, it’s sunny and mild here.

We had a lovely long walk in the woods with Bill first thing, we covered around 4 miles and the only other person we saw was Trudy from over the road with her two dogs.
Tom’s gone into the school today so no creeping around for me. The bedding is being washed and I’ve got to finalise the shopping order, I also need to order some items from Amazon. I’ll get out and carry on tidying in the garage too.

My love and thoughts are with Crommers and his family, and also Cruiser and Mrs E xx

Have a lovely day Saundra!! :D

Take care all, much love xx

Morning everyone

Ossie, that's a result - nice one!!!!
Ally, enjoy our day - sounds just about perfect.
Saundra - your post has put such a big smile on my face. Have just the most amazing time xxxxx
Jan, good luck with the dentist and hope Jan can help with the doc advice. Chicken and mushroom pie sounds good.
Jo, nice that the days are longer and warmer so you can get those longer walks in. Bet Billy is happy as well :D

Hoping Cruiser and Mrs E are doing as well as they can
Thinking of Crommers and family x

Weather here not so nice either. I really thought it was meant to be clear and dry all week but we've had rain yesterday and today. Not a lot but just enough to stop the grass from drying off enough so I could potentially get the lawnmower out and I'd quite like to give the lawn a first chop before all the weeds start growing and flowering as I quite like to leave them for the bees, until more flowers are around that is.

Usual work morning for me. Nadine is collecting me just after 2pm so we can go wig shopping for her; it's a lot of money she'll be spending so she wanted me to go along and go give a 2nd opinion - so I'll pack up my trusty laptop and work phone and do the mobile office thing (again)

Morning all, a gorgeous Spring morning here and joy of joys, I have washing out on the line for the first time this year (yes, I’m a sad person but we have to take our excitement where we can these days  ) Michael and Kellie will be here shortly which takes care of our day. Supermarket shop due soon also. This morning’s post brought a book on crochet, after I dredged up basic knowledge to make a lead for Kellie’s toy dog last week, I thought it would be good to refresh my memory and have a change from knitting.

Saundra, you are going to have such a lovely day, so pleased for you. I hope Cruiser and Mrs.e are doing ok, and sending vibes to Crommers and Mrs. C.
