Good morning all. A bit chilly here today but no rain.
I have been to get some beef for Sunday dinner and we have been to get odds and ends; envelopes for all the documents we will need, etc.
The registrar rang today; obviously atm a lot of things are done on line or over the phone. We are progressing a bit.
Thanks for the thoughts Osc. In some ways both MrsC and her sister are better now; much less stressed, more settled.
Debih, three teeth, oww. The rest of your weekend sounds lovely though.
Vibes for the Cruisers and anyone else in need of them.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :D

Lovely sunshine here 8-)

Ouch Debih, hope it's not too painful when the numbness wears off.
Roast beef sounds yummy Crommers. Glad to hear Mrs.C and SIL are feeling less stressed, it's a difficult time for you all.

Washing for me, bit extra today as we decided to do the half yearly mattress turn while E can still help a little. The quilted mattress and pillow covers are in the wash right now, nearly done so they'll get a good air before I put them back on the bed again. No other plans, got more than enough to keep me busy.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s a beautiful day here :D

We walked Bill first thing in the frost and then I walked him again at lunchtime. We ran into his old friend Barney shortly after we set out so walked with him and his owner, Gill, for a while. Barney’s a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he’s deaf and quite slow. I walked ahead with Gill and Barney and Bill walked behind. Each time Barney slowed up Bill stopped and waited for him. Bill was a pup and Barney would’ve been around 5 or 6 when they first came across each other so they go way back!

I’ve also had the Tesco delivery so I need to drop my Mom and Dad’s shopping on their drive later and I’ll call in the M&S food store to pick up a clothing order.

I’ve just baked some shortbread. One tray of plain and one of chocolate. Joe’s taking Amanda back to university at Falmouth tomorrow so they’ll take half with them for the journey.

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all - sorry I have been AWOL this past few days, and thank you all so much for your thoughts and questions regarding Amy. Suffice to say returning to work has been very tiring!! Too much to explain atm, but you get the idea....(I'll update re Amy on the Health board)

Anyway it's been gorgeous here today - so Tom and I have done a LOOONG walk (just over 6 and a half miles) round the neighbouring villages - not the streets, but the countryside, of which we have lots! It's fab to be out again, I didn't realise how much I craved fresh air until it was denied me! We popped down to McDonalds for a coffee and some fries afterwards and then a small errand to run to town and back for Amy's Tom.

So glad Cruiser has got a care plan in place. That will help a lot x

Enjoy the sunshine while you can! Kaz I'm glad B is feeling better now xx
