Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 04 Mar 2021, 06:35

Good morning.

How has it zoomed round to Thursday again??!! :o

Usual two hours teaching this morning then meeting my friend for breakfast. Coffee and a bacon & cheese pitufo. :D

I need to nip to Primor for a mascara and no doubt other goodies will fall into my basket. Think nail polish. Lots of.

Teaching 4 - 7 then home to BBQ chicken and spicy wedges. :cute:

Have a good day.

Thoughts for those in need. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, cloudy and rain forecast. Quite mild though ;)

Kitchen morning this morning, curry making and then cutting up a pork loin, some of it for a local dish which I'll marinade over night and the rest into either steaks or a joint or two.

After that, it's find a new book  I woke up early again and have been reading in one of the spare room since half four

Vibes and thoughts for all our poorly one's and for those looking after them x

Have as good a day as you can xx

Morning you two, morning all

Ally, I know - the days are just flying by! Enjoy the breakfast and shopping and make sure you safely catch all the things that 'may' just 'fall' into your basket :D
Jan, enjoy the cooking and hope you find some books.

Well usual work / home day for me. Was in the office yesterday - the only one there. I drove it so all safe and besides building security didn't speak to anyone (well besides the check out lady at Superdrug). It's heartbreaking to see the streets that are usually buzzing so empty and quiet. And even worse seeing that queue of cabbies waiting for a ride that will most likely never come. I just wanted to give them all a hug :(

Going to pop out in a bit to get some groceries at Sainsbury's - the usual veg for the chickens and some food for me; and a few bits and bobs for two neighbours.

ongoing vibes for those that need them x

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here, cold too :( Michael is here early as Kellie is back at school and he is not back until Monday week. He has school work to do, then his online class 12.30-1.30. I’ll collect Kellie at 1.30. Miss Osc warned me that they had the “facts of life” conversation with him, just in case any questions come our way! I want to order some stuff from M&S but otherwise looking after the children is it for the day. Edward is slightly better, I requested a phone consultation from the doctor yesterday which hasn’t happened yet.

Morning all, it’s another grey one and it’s drizzly at times but that’s better than the rain we had on and off all day yesterday.

We’ve walked Bill and then I went for a run, I have to time it to avoid school drop off time.

Might be having an Amazon parcel delivered today, it’s not due until tomorrow but the tracker has it at the delivery depot and they don’t usually hang onto them.

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon. A grey day here; it's just stopped raining.
I've got a boeuf burginione in the oven, doing slowly.
We have been to Sainsburys as well to do the weekend shop and also to the chemist for our prescriptions. We got Sergio some Italian bread that he likes and some soluble paracetamol. He and his ex J are having to isolate before he has a procedure next Thursday.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

First time I have opened the laptop this week!! So tired after work, must be post Covid tiredness, I'm not usually this bad! It has been a very trying time though.....hopefully may start to get a tad easier from now, but don't hold your breath! Too many changes, we *ahem* older ladies are struggling (mostly computer based) :(

It's been very cold and grey this week, such a difference from last week! Today we have even had some rain, but I went to Lidl and got a grocery shop done and then drove further to Sainsburys and Superdrug, stopping off at Secret Garden (independent cafe) for a takeaway latte and choc and orange scone which I ate in the car. It's the new treat, in the past it would have been a proper cafe but in these strange times....

My trip to Superdrug involved a couple of makeup items, no nail polish (my nails are rubbish!) but a new eyebrow thing and some hair stuff :D Felt almost normal to be browsing shelves! Enjoy your trip Ally x

Thoughts with the Cruisers x

Osc, Lewis is at a similar stage at school - makes for some er interesting conversations!! :D
