Well it's sold! Only went on the market a week ago. Must be the yuppie couple.

So Andy and I didn't put them off, then.
I told him we should have worn our smocks .....
They probably thought we were part of the "rural ambiance" ....

Blimey this is taking me back My cousin’s girlfriend from the mid 70s straight through to the early 90s was a Bristolian and she’d often take us kids down to Bristol when she visited her mother. She lived on Fishponds Road, right opposite Eastville Park.

Was there a chocolate factory in Bristol? I remember us always coming home with bags of misshapes and damages, I’m sure it was said that Maggie’s sister got them from work.

Fry's in nearby Keynsham, Jo. Cadburys took it over, then Kraft, and it was controversially closed in 2011 by the Americans, with the machinery and production moved to Poland.

Jo, when I lived in York a friend of my first husband worked at the Rowntrees factory, and had a card for their factory shop! We used to get bags full of misshapen lion bars, kit kats etc

Kaz, the only perk we have now is Joe bringing biscuits home from work. The wife of someone he works with works at Fox’s in Uttoxeter and he brings packets into work, we now know that Fox’s make Morrison’s own brand biscuits

Not surprised if sold so quickly, it’s a lovely looking bungalow.

There’s this house for sale on our estate. Being nosy it’s always intrigued me because there’s always been loads of very unusual vases and pots on the windowsills so I’ve now been able to have a look
It’s been for sale for a while. Most others around here that have come on the market recently have sold within days but that design doesn’t seem to sell very well, there’s not much living space downstairs.
