Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 21 Mar 2021, 07:47

Morning everyone

Sunny, but a little chilly out there at the moment.

Off to the joy that is Pingo soon. Grumpy will be with me, to heft up all the heavy stuff. Back for sausage butties :Hi:

I'll be doing my normal nothing at all and not sure what Grumpy will be doing, whatever he feels like. The list, without me doing anything, is endless

Hope E had a good night :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Barbequed sausage for breakfast! Living the dream Jan, living the dream. Enjoy your tea and toast in bed Saundra.
MrsC's birthday today. Our daugher and Eliza have just been, lovely to see them. We are lucky having family close by.
I hope E had a good night and thoughts for Cruiser.
Roast chicken for dinner and all in all a lazy day ahead.
It is a lovely morning here. Blue skies and not cold; spring is coming, bring it on!
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s overcast out there today. We got up a bit late and still have to have our showers. I need to do some ironing today as we’ve been over in Miss Osc’s and probably there again tomorrow. If I did an hour that would be a start, so I’ll do that later. The bathroom might just get a quick rub around. Hope E has had a good night and that Cruiser managed some restful sleep.

Morning all........almost

Lovely bright sunshine here 8-)

E got home in good time yesterday, so lovely to have him back. I did cheese and ham omelette, chips and beans for dinner, it's one of his favorites and he wolfed it down like a starving man  He has to do the injections in his stomach at 10pm each evening so we finally got off to bed around 10.45. Luckily we have a tv in our bedroom which we hardly ever use, but it will be handy for me as I don't usually get to sleep until much later. He must have been really tired, he was out cold until 9am, he probably would have slept even longer if I hadn't woken him. We've got to get used to a different routine until he can shower again, took an hour to get him washed and dressed, but we got there in the end.

He's quite impressed with his bed, it's much nicer than the one he had in hospital. The chap who delivered it says they're really expensive, around £4,000 each!! Apparently it's steam cleaned when it goes back, but they're only allowed to send it out 15 times regardless of how long it's in use, then it's junked!! Goodness knows how much they charge the the NHS.

I need to do the census sometime today, but apart from that we're won't be doing a lot, we're planning to see if he can have a little walk outside, but apart from that it will be a quiet day. Dinner tonight is M&S cottage pie with veggies.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon everybody,
Grey skies but no wind.
Osc, Had a good nights sleep. Probably helped with the whisky I had. A friend of mrs.e's she used to work with came round for a chat and she likes whisky.
It is a 16 yearold single malt. She phoned this morning to make sure I was OK.
Have washed the car, first time for over a month. Getting rid of papers I no longer need. The blue bin which is for paper is noo full. So I am putting paper
I have shredded into big black bags.

Have a good day everybody.
