It's Spring!

The real one, not the made up one the Met Office uses.

It started overnight for most of us in the UK. You watch us now get a cold snap an freezing temperatures.

looking at a longer term forecast it's OK here.... night time temps are still lower than I'd like them to be; between 5 and 10 would be good, but we have quite a few still coming in at around 3. Looking forward to the regular above 10 night time temps :D

Frank, it's been spring here for weeks! The daffs and tulips have been out for a good month and are even starting to die back a bit, we've got magnolia trees in bloom, flowering cherries, and it's all looking very pretty :)

Kaz, no crocuses, daffs, blossoms of any sort, and only very small buds on the trees. I know that we fall behind the further north we get but we would normally expect something by now.

The lighter duvet will not be getting an airing just yet! :o

We’ve got daffs out but like with you Frank, the trees are still bare apart from small buds.

Adders were seen basking on the Chase yesterday though :?

I drove over a snake this afternoon - it was wiggling across the road.
