Afternoon all, it’s gone grey and chilly this afternoon after a sunny and mild morning. At least it was nice for our walk on Hednesford Hills.

Kaz, I feel the same when I post.

Saundra, how lovely. Your son and Scarlett always bring you some lovely things doesn’t they :)

Crommers, we’re heading into birthday season here too. It’s my friend Ruth’s birthday on the 13th, sister’s on the 23rd, Dad’s on the 29th, John’s is on May 1st, Joe turns 21 on the 8th and it’s mother in law’s on the 10th. Plus there’s Easter before all of that isn’t there

So pleased to see that E is doing so well Jen, can’t begin to imagine how relieved you both are! x

Have a good day all :)

The cheese lady has said that she'll come up to our place, rather than meet at the bar. She's getting a lot more orders and has to go up and down our track anyway.

I watched her do it this afternoon, then she rang me 5 minutes later

Ah, sorry.

He's managed t o get some netting on the top, but screwed it down so many times, we reckon the weight of the screws will keep it in place. he obviously hates hates and is very gingerly going up and down the various ladders, scaffolding.

BUT, the overlap he's done means that when the wind picks up - which it often does here - the middle bit will soon tear loose. The whole structure looks incredible flimsy, no struts to keep the top strong and he's put it in concrete, in the ground. We're giving it two years, before it collapses.
