Good morning.

Super warm sunshine forecast. 8-)

Off for a bike ride. :P :P

Lazy day reading and a swim. :P

Don's doing a BBQ for dinner. I'm in charge of the salad and salsa.

Have a good day.

Morning all :)

We’re going into Lichfield for takeaway coffee and a walk with Shannon this morning, and it’s snowing  I’m sure it was warmer when we last saw her on Christmas Eve!
On the way over I need to call at Rob and Ruth’s house to drop off Ruth’s birthday presents and cards.

Apart from that there are no plans, apart from cooking a gammon joint, veg and parsley sauce for dinner.

Al, enjoy your day. I think we jinxed the weather when we bought our new barbecue and garden furniture a few weeks ago. It all still stored away in the garage

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon everyone :)

Reading and swimming sounds fab Ally :) xx

Jo it's your fault is it? I knew someone must have jinxed it :P A photo memory from last year came up on my FB this morning, of Mick sitting at his easel in the garden painting, wearing a t-shirt   xx

Hope it stays warm for you Jan :) xx

It's very sunny here, but really chilly, brrrr!! :? We've been out for a newspaper, and called in to see D. Mick put her garden bin out for her :) Lamb steaks and veg for dinner later 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

The rain didn't stop all day yesterday so no walk. Planning to make up for it this afternoon. Roast chicken for dinner later, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, another lovely walk this morning. Our 5km limit goes tomorrow and we can travel anywhere within our county, although given how full one of the car parks was, many people have obviously preempted it. I think we got the best of the day as it has clouded over now........oh it’s actually snowing    I might do a bit of ironing later, and then will crochet.

ETA It was just a short snow flurry

Good afternoon everybody.

There was a lovely blue sky when I got up. The sun is still out but there are some white fluffy clouds.
Have shreefef more papers, cleaned the base plate of the iron, ordered a new cover for the ironing board. There are marks on the existing one.
Then after lunch hav ebeen in the garden. Some weeding, putting some plants in I bought on Friday. Now just going to relax.
Found the spay gun is leaking. May buy a new one as I have had it for several years. Found one I like with good reviews on line.

Have a good day everybody

Great excitement :D :D :D

We went out :Hi: :Hi:

Jan had asked Grumpy to make a pig skin remover - for when they kill their pigs. So he made a couple before Christmas (whoops, sorry   ) But she wanted some smaller one's, so he made those and we went down to see her, checked the post (nada, as normal  ) Came back and then Lucy asked if we could pop down, as they had a problem with their fossa. He'll probably go down again tomorrow, suitable dressed ;)

Twice in one day - out

Been a lovely, sunny day and the potatoes are roasting nicely in the oven.

Evening all.
Seems like it's been a long day. It's just snowed here too.
Sunday dinner with MrsC and sister in law, and Eliza has come for a sleep over. Her mum is starting a new job tomorrow and wants to try and get a night's sleep tonight. Eliza hasn't been sleeping well recently. Our son in law (a police officer) has had to "gas" two people this week for resisting arrest. He once said that this area doesn't produce the professional criminals that you would get in places like Leeds, Manchester or London, but we do have a lot of violent idiots. I don't know how he does it.
Our afternoon was enlivened by watching our werd neighbour across the road. He was sitting on his roof sweeping it with a hand sweeping brush.
They are an odd bunch.
I hope everybody has had a good day.

Been a lovely bright and sunny day today - we even fitted a walk in :) Just a three miler today, to Bishop Middleham, just down the road....we went to MaccyDs for a coffee afterwards and T got a burger as well.

I've spent most of the afternoon reading my Kindle in the conservatory, where it's been so warm and lovely, until it clouded over and we had SNOW!! Urgh!!! Thought we'd long since seen the last of the white stuff....apparently not. It's laid on the grass and hedges but the roads and paths are clear....looks odd!

Enjoy the rest of Sunday x
