Good Morning Monday

Postby Kaz » 12 Apr 2021, 06:59

It's not often I'm the early bird! Morning all :)

We're up early as M took Becky and Pepper to work for 7.30! B is on an early shift, she's started taking the bus again but Pepper is having laser treatment for arthritis and isn't really up to bus rides these days, bless her! Everywhere is opening up today, but my friend E will be busy catching up with her hairdressing, so I don't think I'll bother with the shops on my own. I'll go and see D briefly, but as she's managed to bag a HD appointment herself for lunchtime it won't be for long.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Morning Kaz, morning everyone

Misty all around us - feels as if we're on a cloud  Another warm day 8-)

Washing to be done today and the kitchen floor needs a scrub. Grumpy really doesn't mop all that well, but I can't tell him, otherwise he's refuse to do it again

Our big re-opening isn't until next week and even then, I'm going to give the shops a miss for another couple of weeks.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Another sunny day. Heard on the local radio a cricket match had to be temporarily stopped yesterday due to snow!!
Have taken the car for its MOT. It has pased again. Will do some more tidying up.
Security alarm went off on Saturday afternoon. So called at the shop on my way home from the garage. It is a local firm and we have an annual maintenance contract.
May have a new control panel fitted. It was originally installed in 1996 so a new one may be needed.
Have a good day everybody

Merry morning everyone

Cannot believe that I woke up to snow this morning :o :o :o madness. It's now stopped and changed over to (much needed) rain but to see that snow first thing was quite something :D

I'm a bit annoyed at myself - I was meant to go to Wilko before the shops reopened as I'd rather not head into the shopping centre now that everyone is back, but was lazy and didn't. So looked to see if I could order online and everything is out of stock so I may need to head into town after all - really would have preferred to avoid that. They've got some really good deals on gardening bits at the moment.

Back to the usual/usual work for me. The past two weeks were sort of holiday / a bit of work but back to normal now.

Have a lovely day everyone, stay warm / dry / safe and ongoing vibes for those that need them x

Good morning all.
Good news on the hairdressers Saundra!
Ria and Cruiser, we had snow yesterday too.
Kaz, poor Pepper, I hope she goes on OK today.
We have dropped Eliza off at playgroup, MrsC has given Dobby the dog a run. In a bit we'll get Eliza back from playgroup.
MrsC is baking a cake for our daughter's birthday on Tuesday and Eliza will help decorate it.
Blue skies here now and there is real warmth in the sun; it was very chilly first thing though, we had a frost.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, I’VE HAD MY HAIR CUT :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

We had quite a bit of snow overnight but it’s thawed now.

The new designer outlet has opened in town today, we drove past yesterday on the way home from Lichfield and said it’s probably the last time we’ll drive near there on a weekend. It’s well placed with the railway station opposite though so hopefully people will make use of the trains and the buses from Birmingham which run every 15 minutes have rerouted to stop there too. I’ll go for a look once the fuss has died down, it’s only a 25 minute walk from home anyway and thankfully isn’t on an out of town site which many are so it’s easily accessible on foot.

Hope Pepper goes on okay Kaz x

That cake will be very special Crommers!

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all :D

Rain first thing, but nice and sunny now.

Can't beat homemade cake Crommers.
Jo I'm so jealous, I've given up with my hair this time round, haven't even touched up the roots so it's looking a mess. My appointment isn't till the 21st, can't wait to get it done.

Apparently people queued up to get into pubs that opened at midnight, saddos the lot of them :o I expect the shops will be manic today, a very good reason to avoid them

Not doing much today, expecting a delivery from Tesco later. If the weather holds up we'll probably go for a short walk after it arrives.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
