You do need to laugh don't you.. :D :D

I have used my own clippers for a decade now. But I lost the 4mm guard. I now look like I'm recovering from having shaved my head.

Whatever works.

I see that Apple and Google have thrown a few spanners and banned its use in that way.... they own it and it's against their privacy rules, the ones the government agencies signed up to when they decided to use it - rebranded, of course.

It was part of the terms and conditions. If they used either google or apple's api's they were not to keep and track data on specific people.

That's what I said yet the Ts and Cs got past how many highly paid people in the corridors of power who are supposed to be 'in the know'?

The irony that two companies known for their rapaciousness in collecting our data are protecting us from our government doing the same is not lost.

The irony is thick, but not as thick as the skin of those in the corridors of power who cannot conceive of any company thwarting their plans.

Same ole, same ole.

No madness in the salon I was in yesterday, apart from one of the stylists doing skin tests on people booked in for colouring treatments (be it hair, eyebrows or lashes) over the next two weeks.
They’ve been told that Covid is classed as a health changing condition so if you’ve had it then you should have a skin test before a colour...but because people may have been asymptomatic and not aware that they’ve been positive they’ve been advised to test everyone.

Yeah, it’s generally every six months or so that they should be done and if there’s a health change, if a different product is used or if the formula changes (IIRC from my hairdressing days).

They’ve just got to do everyone though regardless of if they had a test in December (when they were last doing hair colours and beauty treatments) and I suppose the reason being given that people could be asymptomatic might mean a test every time for the foreseeable.
Poor Jade was doing them on the salon doorstep to prevent the salon becoming too full.

Somehow I don't think my recent health altering event will make much difference to my clippers.  Or my slowly growing fuzz (I lost my 4mm guard and so 1mm it was). :D :D :D Nobody is doing a colour match on me as I really don't care. Although the sun, today, was doing a nice tanning action when we walked the dogs. On my head that is.
