I've now heard that if you did drive off straight away, and you were involved in an accident during that time, your car insurance would not cover you, because you have been "warned".
I know that if you have eye drops for a retinal scan, for example, which affects your vision so you cannot drive for a few hours afterwards, there is a motor insurance claim get-out, but that is highlighted in the paperwork you receive; you are told not to drive to or from the appointment. With regard to the Covid jab, however, the only thing I can find in the literature I have is this:
Driving and Using Machines
Covid-19 vaccine Astra-Zeneca has no know effect on the ability to drive and use machines.
However side-effects listed in Section 4 may impact your ability to drive and use machines.
If you feel unwell, do not drive or use machines.
So, any thoughts on the legal aspects?
