Good morning Saturday.

A place to chat with friends, old and new

Good morning Saturday.

Good morning.

It's the same every year. 1st of May and someone presses the 'let's crank the heat up' button.

I'm off for a quick run shortly, a swim when I get back then I'm going to be gloriously lazy for the rest of the day. Sun lounger and Kindle.

It's a holiday here but because it falls on the Saturday a bridging day will be taken on Monday.

Don's in charge of dinner tonight...his new title is BBQ man.

We're going to watch the film The Irishman. We were going to a few weeks ago but left it too late in the evening. It's over 3 hours long so will make sure we're settled down by 8pm. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool start to the day again, but will warm up 8-)

Holiday here and I'm off to Ourique this morning for my first jab :Hi: :Hi: Pit-stop for coffee and post box checking on the way back.

Grumpy will be strimming and I'll be doing not a lot before we head back down to the bar this afternoon, to meet friends for a few beers.

Back for curry :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull at the moment.

We’re having a barbecue later, Shannon’s coming over for it. I’ll be busy shortly making burgers, kebabs and chocolate brownies.

Al, we both enjoyed The Irishman. We watched Nomadland last night, I thought it was wonderful, there’s no big drama happening in it but it had me captivated.

Have a good day all :D

All done, coffee drank, bit of a gossip with Odette and now going to make some flat breads for the curry. Warmed up a little, but still a chilly wind

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Glad you've had your jab Jan.

My hip's feeling a lot better, but I'm still taking it easy and avoiding too much bending. Hoping we'll be able to walk along the clifftop on Monday, in the meantime E will get a couple of walks round the close today and tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s quite a nice day here, sun, some cloud and not as cold as yesterday. We went out for a walk earlier, the place was getting busy already so we headed back through the old golf course which was nice and quiet. When we got back I cleaned down the shower walls and door, been meaning to do it for ages. We’ve had lunch and there’s nothing planned for the rest of the day. My brother got home from hospital yesterday and I had a long chat with him earlier this morning, he sounds fine.

Afternoon everyone :)

Enjoy that heat, Ally :) xxx

Glad you've had your jab, Jan :Hi:

Jo, Nomadland has certainly got great reviews! :) Have fun at your barbecue, Becky is off to a friend's shortly, as she's having one too :D xxx

Hope your weather warms up, Saundra :) xxx

Glad you're feeling better Jen :) xx,

Osc, that's great news about your brother, I'm so glad he's home :) xxx

We have lovely sunny weather today, but still slightly chilly. Out for brunch before ten, down at Coretto's. The food market is back at the Quays - Becky had a mooch and bought the dogs some handmade dog treats  Then we popped home to collect the dogs, and went to see D. Since getting back I've put on a wash of dusters, cleaning cloths, and steamer pads, and will peg those out shortly :) I've also planted some mint plants into a large patio tub. Mick is painting the fence, and B is getting ready to go out to the barbecue I mentioned :)

Love to all xxx

Been to Nose's Point in Seaham for a walk with Lily dog, first time we have taken her out walking when we do, and it was a LONG one, so she's now cream crackered! Very well behaved though, it's been beautifully sunny, if cold, think we did around 5 miles, with a climb up and down, and then a very welcome flat white and flapjack at the end....was so lovely up there, a shame to leave it! 8-)

BBQ sounds good, those who are having one - Ally we have the sun, we only need some heat in it! Still night time temps of freezing or below, and "highs" of about 10 max during the day!! We're off to Keswick on Friday, we always go at the same time of year and we usually get good weather - hopefully the same will happen for us this time! *fingers crossed*
