There was always at least one kid who was pulling a face, and another who had turned his back ....

We didn’t have one of those taken at my school but Joe has one from when he was in the Reception class at infant school.
The school was closing (after being in the town since the 1600s) so that Asda could have the land for a town park (or a hangout for drug users as it’s become) so a whole school photo was taken on the playground.

I saw the most gorgeous chair yesterday, but couldn't buy it as Chris and Lucy bought some tables and chairs - I was rather hemmed in  - so rang the shop today for them to reserve it for me.

~Sold!! Sadly, not to me.

Always remember to buy what you see when you see it.

I'm gutted.

It was unique Saundra, a massive wicker chair, taller than me, standing up, with lovely rolled arms.

The woman in the shop suggested another one for me, but it was bog standard, so no, I don't want that one.

Having seen the poo on the patio for the last four years, just now, ambling across the bottom of the lawn, we had our first actual sighting of our resident hedgehog! :D

hmmm, just after midday and it's out, not really ideal so please keep an eye open on it. Fingers crossed though that it is "just" a female out looking for either nesting material or extra food - in which case prepare for the pitter patter of little feet - how exciting.

If you don't already Ossie, please put some dry cat food and a bowl of water out for it (no milk and no bread, and definitely NOT mealworms please)
Because of the cold weather we've had there just aren't as many bugs about that they'd usually eat so any helpling hand is hugely appreciated. ;-)
