Good morning.

Hot and sunny.

Apart from a swim mid morning I'm having a lazy day poolside reading. :cute:

Roast chicken for dinner with spicy wedges and salad. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning <Ally, morning everyone

Wet :Hi: :Hi: All day wet :Hi: :Hi: Warm though and a little blowy, but wet :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Having lived in England for 47 years, never thought I'd say "rain, lovely rain"  it's so loud on the roof, we can't hear the television

So a day for staying inside, watching the rain, reading and eating. Also having roast chicken for dinner, but with roast potatoes, steamed veg.

Mitch got home yesterday, so I'll ring him later. Probably very grumpy, but hey ho

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Grey clouds but no rain. Showers are forecast. Been to Tesco shopping. It is easier to park nearer the entrance if you go early on Sunday morning.
Now going to have a coffee. Doing some housework later on.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all.
A nice morning here with warm sun.
Sounds like you really needed the rain, Jan.
Eliza is coming for her dinner today, our daughter is getting ready to host a "baby shower"?
Apart from that not too much, maybe read a book. I read Drew Pritchard's* book yesterday which was entertaining.
I hope Jen's hip is improving and that E is managing to get his walk.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, it was quite nice earlier on, but rain is on the way. By the time we went for a walk, it had clouded over and you could feel the rain in the air. This morning we got photos and a video of Edward’s niece getting married in London yesterday - she was originally supposed to get married here last October but of course that didn’t happen. Her parents didn’t go over for it, but apparently had a little party in their house in Dublin, Edward’s brother and his wife. We don’t like the wife, but I would feel very sorry for her not being at the wedding of her only daughter. We’re pleased to have dodged a family wedding though ;) Going to be lazy for the rest of the day, no change there so

Morning all :D

Changeable here, one minute sunny the next overcast

Resting my hip seems to be working thanks Crommers. E managed a good walk yesterday, he went a lot further out along the main road so decided that would do, but he did do another set of exercises in the afternoon. Think he might do the same again today. Usual Sunday for me, roast chicken for us too, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud, my favourite.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

We've had rain, sun and wind. But still warm.

Grumpy has spent most of the day watching Heldar disc some fields near us. Nothing is ploughed here, so disc it is. Will look great when it's finished. But no washing out for a few days, as the dust, even after the rain, is wafting everywhere.

Spoke to Mitch earlier, he had to go back to hospital late last night and is seeing his surgeon on Tuesday, as things aren't quite right, apparently. But he sounds so much better.

Couple of beers, then I'll start the chicken.

Evening everyone :)

Busy, busy day here - sorry to be late looking in  :) Up early as Mick drove B to work - the buses aren't brilliant on Sundays. A beautiful sunny day here, such a contrast to yesterday, so we treated ourselves to brunch out again, popped home for the dogs afterwards, and went to see D. So nice to be able to sit on her patio, enjoying her beautiful garden and the lovely sunshine :)

Home to cook a simple but tasty lunch of lamb steaks, baked potatoes and veggies. Then I spent the whole afternoon sorting out my wardrobe and chest of drawers, throwing out some, and putting my winter stuff into storage. What a task, I have far too much stuff really   B got back from work about an hour ago, Mick's gone to the gym, and I've finally got my feet up ;)

Best wishes to Mitch, Jan xxx

Love to all :) xxx

Kaz, you can come and help me.

I have started sorting through my wife's things. I have taken several bags of cosmetics to the salon where Audrey used to have aromatherapy.
Sam, the lady who runs it has said she and her daughter who is 22 spent one evening sorting through the stuff. They will keep some but some will
be used in the salon such as nail varnish.

I have two large plastic bags of underwear and old jumpers which will be taken tomorrow by one of the cancer charities.

I have yet to start on the good clothes which includes a fur coat, several pairs of dance shoes and boots.
Took three large bags full of handbags to the charity shop on Thursday.
I go through every pocket in clothes and the handbags to make sure there is no money or paper tissues inside the pockets and compartments.
It is time consuming.
