Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 16 May 2021, 05:09

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

Off for a quick run, back to shower etc then wait for David to pick me up at 10.40. Today is zip wire day. High up and flying through the air at 100kms an hour strapped to what looks like basically a reinforced sleeping bag.

Should be home by 1pm then plan to read and laze by the pool. I did that yesterday and got through a whole book.

Got a chicken that's easy to just bung in the oven, divvy up and have with salad.

More Better Call Saul tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey. Solid grey  Warm, but where's my sunshine?

Have a great time Ally :Hi: :Hi:

It's also blowy, so that put the kibosh of me doing stuff outside. I'll water the new plants, and then how the day takes me.

Planning a bbq for later, but if it stays like this, we'll finish of last nights curry and have the bbq tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both :)

Have fun Ally, it looked amazing on that clip! Bonkers, but amazing ;)  xx

Jan we have (almost) sunshine, but it's still not very warm  xx

Becky's at work, and we're out having brunch. Chicken stir-fry for later. I've washed the two summer weight duvets that I got out of the storage bags last night, so will be drying them later. If it stays dry they can go on the line, if not they will tumble on a cooler setting. Watch it snow next week, as I got some summer clothes out too :P :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning, just.
Enjoy the zipping Ally! Jan, we have neither sun nor warmth.

Nowt much doing here. Sunday dinner soon and the motorbikes this afternoon. We have a Tom Cruise film to watch later, Legend, but I don't know if it's any good.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Overcast and we've already had one downpour, think we're in for more.

Good luck with the zip wire Ally, rather you than me

Our papers haven't arrived, I rang and apparently they were 4 hours late getting to the shop, but even so I would have expected them by now. Will give them another ring shortly. Roast chicken for dinner later, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Oops spoke too soon, they've arrived, better late than not at all.

Good afternoon everybody.

Someblue sky but no rain. Went for a paper when I got up. Got to the shop but had left my money at home.
Bought one when I went to Tesco later for some shopping. Am now just pootling, trying to get the house spick and span. Where does the dust come from?

Ally, I may try the zip wire when I go on the cruise in July. We can then compare notes.

Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely sunny day here and we went for a nice walk earlier, after which I sat out in the sun reading. Not doing much, we’ve been idly chatting about what we could do for our 50th anniversary next year, but only chat because it would be silly to book something just at the moment, even for May next year. But it’s nice to look!!
