A bracing walk on the sea front today at lunchtime could just about keep upright in the wind which was recorded as busting around 70/75mph.

I've sliced me thumb open on a tin of corned beef, trying to open the wretched thing. Blood everywhere. Positively lethal, they are ....

Lethal those things Ossie, lethal.

The English supermarket in the Algarve was selling some corned beef the other week, not being a lover of it, I didn't bother. A friend did and said it was like a sloppy dog food

We have a hum. Just a hum. Not always, but sometimes.

Blasted annoying, not sure where it's coming from.

Wasn't there somewhere in the south west of England that had a hum?

We have a poorly Molly

She came in last night, went to bed before us and is still there

Daft car has probably eaten a gecko again - and they're toxic to cats. Either that or a snake bit her. She's been like this before and it will take a couple of days for her to feel better.

It's an outside hum Ria - somewhere

Molly still on her (Ria's) bed, tucked herself between the two pillows. I've put some water out for her, just in case. But she's a tough Alentejana cat, she'll sort it out 8-)
