Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 02 Jun 2021, 05:38

Good morning.

Very hot and sunny.

Not long back from a run and headed straight for the pool shower. We're not overlooked by anyone so I kept my modesty.

Now enjoying a coffee.

Plan to read, swim and keep cool.

Repair Shop and GB Sewing Bee tonight. Bliss. :P

Have a great day.

Saundra.....hope you have a lovely afternoon tea with Scarlett. xx

Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

We had the most amazing sunrise, the colours just stunning. Pity the camera didn't pick them out quite as well. So another warm day, better than yesterday.

Off to Ourique after breakfast. I'm still after a cossie I can fit into  and we need other bits and bobs. Also a birthday card for my daughter that I keep forgetting about  And then the joy that is Pingo.

Pit stop for coffee on the way back and the bbq later, that we didn't have yesterday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning you three, morning every one else :D

Saundra, have a lovely afternoon with Scarlett, perfect extended birthday celebration x
Ally, glad you're preserving your modesty there
Jan, hope you find a cossie, you have been looking for a while. Say hi to whoever may be at the bar. Also how is Mitch doing?

well a sort of usual / usual for me . Work as normal, but taking Thomas for his driving lesson today as Nadine is working - so I'll be taking laptop with me in the car, mobile office :D . Was at the allotment just before 7am to water, so lovely and peaceful there. Then home and watered the front garden. What a difference when the weather is warm - everything is so much more fun to do

Not sure what the afternoon will bring; I may end up staying at Karl and Nadine's or come home

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody.

Another bright and sunny day. Will be doing ironing this afternoon. The sun will have moved round so it will be cooler were the ironing board is.
Had a phone cal from grand-daughter last night. It is a month since she started working full time. I am not sure what she doesbut it is in the financial
services industry. She said she has got a mark of 50 when the average for previous entrants was only 30. Watch this pace. She will be CEO in a couple of years.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s getting cloudy here but warm, and rain forecast for later. I never got around to posting yesterday, the day got away from me and I ended up doing a lot more than I had planned. We got delivery of a full size table tennis table, which is very heavy and needed the wheels put on which we managed - not bad for two old ones! Michael has grown out of the smaller one now. Today we are off out shopping, I need presents for the birthdays of my grand niece and grand nephew, and I also want to avail of a Clinique special offer in Boots. I had ordered a summery dress from M&S which arrived this morning, very pleased with it and might get it in another colour. Edward is doing the supermarket order while I tidy around, then we will go.

Saundra, have a lovely time with Scarlett, Jen, enjoy your visitors. Cruiser, well done to your granddaughter.

Good afternoon all.
We have been to ASDA to get a better pillow for the bed; a firmer pillow.
It is a lovely day now the early mist has burned off.
Settling down for a lazy day.
Enjoy your afternoon with Scarlett Saundra!
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :)

Waves to everyone, seems we're all doing ok :)

I'm really happy, as Becky was messaged by the vaccination hub at Churchdown (between Gloucester and Cheltenham) and offered her jab tomorrow morning! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: It's a relief, with this variant lurking about :cute: 8-) It's been a lovely day here, but a thunderstorm is predicted any time now - it's gone cloudy and humid. I walked into town to meet my friend J for a cuppa, then up to see D. Been home about 20 minutes :)
