Morning Cruiser.

Sorry you had a restless night. xx

Extremely hot forecast. No surprise though. It's June in Southern Spain.

Usual 2 hours this morning. My first B1 class are in bits....3 of them were ready and wanted to do the exam late June and I kept asking if they had matriculated. Yes teacher. We'll get round to it. I kept saying due to covid places were limited. Yes teacher. We'll do it. Got a group Whatsapp yesterday full of anguish from them. No exam places left!! I'm not very happy with them and they'll be told. All that work they've been doing since last September!

The only thing they can do now is focus on getting a place in October and I'll have to encourage them to keep working through the summer. Yeah right! I'll see if I can tutor them for a few weeks when I return from the UK in September.

Rant over!

Meeting my friend for coffee and pitufo when I finish at 11.

Work 4 - 7 then meeting Don for a cold beer and an early dinner.

Have a great day.

Morning Cruiser, Ally and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but blowing a hooley so feels really cold in the wind

You have a kip this afternoon Cruiser, best thing to do after a disturbed night.

Naughty students Ally :cute:

Holiday here, so we might pop down to the bar this afternoon. Might be packed, might not, you never know with the Portuguese

Done the pot watering and the smaller plants, not a hope of using the hose pipes

Cleaning for me this morning, as I might be out tomorrow and we're out Saturday morning, so best get it over with.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you'redoing xx

Morning everyone

Cruiser - an afternoon snooze sounds like a perfect idea :D enjoy!
Ally, that's very frustrating for you as the teacher, esp as you asked them numerous time... tough lesson for them to have learned, but hopefully learn from it they did.
Jan, hope you get the cleaning done, but do take it easy!

Kaz, hopefully B will have had her jab by now - that's such good news!!!

Well another usual/usual for me - have a friend coming round for dinner this evening which will be nice. Hoping the weather warms up so we can sit outside, it's a tad grey and nippy still. I need to give the outside table a good clean just in case - It's been used as a potting table so rather messy :D

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, nice and sunny here but there is a nip in the breeze. Busy day ahead, Michael and Kellie will be here later but in the meantime, I have stuff I want to do around the house. I’m bringing Kellie to get her hair trimmed this afternoon - she wants to grow it as long as Rapunzel, but knows it needs to be trimmed to keep it growing well. The hairdresser has promised to “cut it long” ;) she is obviously well used to princess little girls! Cruiser, I’m very good at having an afternoon snooze if I need it. Right, better get started.

Good morning all.
That must be very frustrating for you Ally. Cruiser, you get that nap. Osc, some scientists believe the human body was designed for two sleeps a day.
Ria and Jan, we're going to have to water our son's plants this pm; he's on holiday in Cornwall. What a lovely day you must have had Saundra!
Another quiet day for us. MrsC is going to take her Uncle Jim some shopping we got for him, then put flowers on her parent's grave. I'll b cooking a Bolognese and waiting in for a delivery of cider from Normandy. It's a bit of a punt, I've never tried it before.
Grey and cloudy here, hopefully it will burn off this afternoon.
Have a good day all.
