Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 07 Jun 2021, 04:35

Good morning.

Flippin hot.

I forgot to post here yesterday as Conor tipped up yesterday morning for a surprise visit and stayed all day. :cute: :cute:

I'm off for a run then a swim when I return.

Shopping at plaza mayor for a few things including a mini blender. So many soft summer fruits here crying out to be blitzed into smoothies with ice.
There's a great Mexican restaurant there that do fabby tacos so that's lunch sorted.

Home late afternoon to laze by the pool and read.

Last night we watched the first of a 3 part series with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. So gripping was it that we're going to binge watch the remaining 2 episodes tonight. We don't normally do this as we're usually patient enough to wait but this was too good to wait till next Sunday! :)

Have a great day.

ETA...just back from my run at 8am and it's nudging 30 degrees. Gonna be a scorcheroony again.

Morning Al and all, it’s sunny and already very warm here.

Bill’s had an early walk and I’m currently on hold with a call centre. I’ll hoover once I’m off this call

Have a good day all :)

Good morning everybody.

The sun is trying to come out.
Waiting for the flagger to come to lay new flags at the front. He arrived as I was typing and has started laying the flags. Have given him a coffee, Milk and two

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning 8-)

No internet again first thing, so we've done the strimming, weeding, watering and the clothes are on the line - not for long, they'll soon dry. Treated ourselves to a cooked breakfast and now am going to do not a lot

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We watched Time too Ally, gripping with great actors, definitely worth watching.

We had a lovely day sitting in the garden yesterday, very relaxing. Planning much the same again today, expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon and that should be the only interruption. I do like these sunny days 8-) :D :D

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s mostly sunny here too with a temperature of a pleasant 15 degrees. I walked over to the golf club with Edward, then I carried on further, did almost 6km. Since I got back I’ve been doing various bits and pieces, sorted through my gym clothes as small classes start again this week and I managed to get into the first one. I’d almost forgotten what I had and some of the tops went into the charity bag. I’ve a batch of soup on in the soup maker and after lunch I’ll need to do some ironing. It is a bank holiday here and Howth is busy, outdoor dining started today and the pub next door has been busy since early.

Evening everyone :)

Been into town this morning, met Em for a cuppa and a sandwich in M&S. Then I went to the hairdressers' wholesalers with her, as she lets me use her trade card for my otherwise expensive Redken shampoo and conditioner ;) :D Called into D's on the way home, then started prepping dinner and got my washing in. Finally having a sit down ;)

My cooker packed up last night, as I was cooking a chicken   Thankfully the smaller top oven is ok, so I managed to finish it off in there  We've eaten it cold, with salad, for an early dinner tonight. Poor Mick is in agony with a bad back, but the soonest GP appointment he could get was next Monday - a phone appointment  Very unimpressed!!

Love to all xxx
