Usual 2 hours this morning. Nip to the post office to send dad's Father's Day card then meet my friend for coffee and pitufo.

Work 4 - 7 then home to a hubby kitchen creation.

Late start, s we got dive bombed by a mozz, so had to change bedrooms, then, of course, we couldn't get back to sleep.

Bit of a tidy up this morning, as we have visitors for a late lunch

It’s a washing day here, it should dry quickly though seeing as it’s warm and sunny.

Roast chicken and salad for tea tonight but if I cook the chicken in the Instant Pot I don’t have to have the hot oven on to add to the heat.

Mozzies are a nuisance Jan! We seem to be plagued with moths this year, I've bought a special spray for the wardrobes, hoping the little buggers stay out of our clothes xx

High clouds here but warm and heading for 22 °C come midday.

Got to visit two banks to do a money transfer because the Credit Union does not do Internet banking. It's a "doing my bit for the community" thing.

Apart from that just a lazy day.

Another lovely sunny day

We're planning a little jaunt into town today, need to make an appointment at Specsavers for E and get a few bits from Boots. It's absolutely ages since we've been in, I remember our lovely greengrocer shut down very suddenly at the beginning of lockdown. It was a dreadful shock to the staff, many were in tears. Wonder who, if anyone, is using the premises now. Expect we'll see quite a lot of change.

Jen, I miss having a really good greengrocers locally. We had one in town up until a couple of years ago and it was wonderful, it was sold though and the people who took it over absolutely ruined it, most of the original staff left and they closed after a few months.
I hope you find that not too much has changed!

I've done some ironing, Grumpy has been on caterpillar patrol everything is now ready and we have over an hour to wait

Afternoon all, not such a nice day today, mostly cloudy and a bit cool. Michael and Kellie are coming to stay the night, Miss Osc and SIL dropped in all their stuff on their way to spend a night away, a nice treat for them. Michael is playing golf with his other grandad later on, so I will bring him there and other grandad will drop him back. I’ve cleaned the bathrooms, been out to buy milk and am now having lunch before going to collect Kellie from school.
