Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 18 Aug 2021, 06:00

Good morning.

It's been a whirlwind of visitors and so much to do I have to keep checking the day!

Yesterday sis and I went to see dad at the funeral home.
Although heartbreakingly sad we're glad we did.
We'd both written letters to him which we tucked in beside him.

This morning Don and I are getting the train to Prestwick airport to pick the twins up.

They're due to land around 9.40am.

We'll all just jump in an Uber on the way back as we'll be keen to sit at the kitchen table and have a good catch up.

Craig is due to arrive between 1 and 2 and then we'll all head off to meet up with Michele and Mark.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning Ally,

Enjoy your day with the boys and M&M.

Rumour has it that the sun will come out later....

MOT for the car this afternoon so fingers crossed. It all feels good but you never know.

Apart from that not much else on.

Enjoy your day everyone else, when you get up! ;)

Morning Ally and Frank, morning everyone

Ally, it'll be so lovely for you to have all your boys with you and be able to spend the time with them and M&M - I bet there will be many tears and much laughter around that table today; big ((hugs))
Frank, good luck for the MOT - fingers crossed it passes without any issues

Blue'ish skies here this morning but meant to be clouding over in a bit. I really am so done with this miserable summer and it's not looking like any improvement is on the horizon :( Nadine and I were saying yesterday how rubbish it's been so the two of us have decided to book a holiday in October and go where the weather hopefully is warmer than here!

other than that another usual / usual for me

have a lovely day all x

Morning all.
Enjoy your day with the boys Ally, fingers crossed for the car WM.
The sun will be here directly Ria! (probably). I do hope your hay fever gets better Saundra.
Well hurricane Eliza is scheduled to descend upon us at 2pm, action stations!
Apart from that not much, we may go out for tea though.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull and chilly here. I’m going to the gym later then back to do some pre-holiday stuff - pity we are not going tomorrow as I’m more or less ready to pack. My sister said she’d call in later, she is minding Michael and Kellie (they are back from Wicklow) and will call here on her way home. Ally, you will be so pleased to have all your boys around you.

Morning all :D

Another changeable day, one minute sunny, the next overcast

Enjoy time with your boys Ally xx
Good luck with the MOT WM.
Thinking about Jan, hope she's home soon.
Hope your hayfever eases Saundra.
Crommers have fun with hurricane Eliza.

M&M made good time getting here yesterday so we jumped on a bus and met them down at the harbour at 6pm. Haven't seen them for a year so no surprise David has shot up, another grandson taller than me :o We had dinner at The Royal Pavilion (spoons) all good fun.

Think they are hopping on the loop (bus) today, called that because it loops round Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate and all the places in between. They do a family ticket so you can hop on/off anywhere you want to. Hope the weather picks up for them. Expecting them here later this afternoon, we've booked a table at The Greyhound later for dinner.

Hope you all have a good day xx

They will insist on growing, these lads, won't they Jen? :D Harry had definitely filled out on the shoulders when I saw him :) Have a good time tonight! xxx

I've been in town again, and to D's to collect the coat I left behind there yesterday   J and J are still there, so I had a cuppa with them. It's sunny and very warm here! Supposed to be going to Zumba again tonight (I went Monday) but that hall gets really hot on warm days.......I'll play it by ear.

Take care everyone :) xxx
