Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 21 Aug 2021, 05:43

Good morning.

As I type Jacob and Conor are on their flight back home.

Craig will check out of the Airbnb at 10am then he's driving to dad's house where we'll meet him.

A quick cuppa then he's driving back to Nottingham.

Don and I are then going to get a train to Lanark.
We fancy a wee day out and it's a beautiful little place.
The Falls of Clyde are located there which are always worth a visit.

Fish and chips from our local tonight.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, and everyone :)

Your plans sound perfect, Al. Safe flight home to the boys :) xxx

I hope Osc and E enjoy their holiday, I saw a pic on FB of them on the plane :Hi:

Wonderful day yesterday, usual Saturday here - SW meeting, then Correttto's  It's very cloudy here, not sure if it will rain or not.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Morning you three.

A safe journey for your boys, Ally, and enjoy your supper. :D

Kaz, I read that as Cornetto's... and now I want one.

Saundra, get your brolly out...

We have a weather warning for heavy rain, thunderstorms and possible floods and power outages. Some August this has turned out to be. :o

I'll be staying home.

Good morning everybody.

Got home yesterday evening after three wonderful days with friends we met on a cruise. They live in south Birmingham.
Took me to Stratford upon Avon, the Black Country Museum and the Botanical gardens. Good not to have to cook and do house work for three days.

Have a good day everybody especially Ally

Morning all, it’s pouring down here.

Haircut later this morning, I’m thinking of getting a fringe again after growing it out for the last year. No other plans.

Cruiser, glad you had a good time. The Black Country Museum is one of my favourite places to visit. We have passes and go often, sometimes just for the fish and chips for lunch

Lovely to see Osc and Edward on the plane, not sure I’d want to wear a mask for that long though. Hope they have a wonderful time!

Safe travels to your lads, Al x

Have a good day all x

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning and not too hot 8-)

Hope Osc and E have a fabulous time.

Sounds a lovely day Ally, enjoy x And the fish and chips :D

Glad you had a good time with friends Cruiser :D

We had to wear a mask at all times in hospital  Being the rebel that I am, mine was half off at night

Proper lazy start to the day here, I had coffee in bed, Grumpy helped with breakfast, now he's washing up, then he's doing the cleaning. I'm heading for the shower and then do not a lot. Still some discomfort, but no pain. The scar is not quite as long as the original, just over a foot in length

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.
Enjoy your lazy day Jan.
Ally, there used to be a football team called Third Lanark? The went out of pro football some time since; but it was a great name.
I'm glad you enjoyed the meet up with friends Cruiser; there is nothing like a good friend.
Not to much doing here today. The sat nav has arrived in record time, now I need to start and set it up.
Have a good day al.
