Broken clouds, warm but very muggy here - not particularly nice.

I have an(other) electrical inspection at 1 pm as the report for the last one got lost so a bit of a tidy to be done to keep up appearances.

Nothing else planned that I can think of.

Good luck with the inspection Frank - what a bind that you need to have it done again though.
Cruiser, I'm hoping to mow the lawn as well today. I treated myself to a new battery operated mower and I absolutely LOVE it, it's so light and easy to manoeuvre - don't think I'll ever go back to petrol
Saundra, don't talk to me about weeds - the allotment is just a mass of them; so hard to keep up and no sooner do you think you've managed to clear a good patch when they've started sprouting up behind you again.

it's a lovely morning here, generally blue skies with the odd whispy cloud; but the wind is a bit nippy. Usual work / pootle mix for me so nothing exciting to report

Morning all, it’s dull and humid with a bit of drizzle in the air at the moment.

Bill’s had his walk, the washing machine’s on and I plan on mowing the lawns later. Ria, I’ve just changed from an electric mower to a petrol and love it

Tom’s off to Shannon’s later today, then tomorrow they’re going to stay with her aunt and family in Surrey until the weekend.

Morning everyone

Another lovely morning although it's a little cooler, which is heaven. Still mid 30's for the rest of the month and most of next, but cooler at night.

Moving much easier since some of the staples were removed and I even helped with the washing up this morning

Grumpy has, at last, cleaned the lounge window. The cat keeps kissing it, trying to get us to let her in and then dribbles Let's see how long it stays clean this time

Just lying around and reading today. Footie tonight and the last of the flan. To save me cooking, I bought this huge flan and we're now fed up wit hit, but should finish it off tonight I'm eating a quarter of what I normally do, I'm finding it very difficult to motivate myself to eat - and I normally love food! But I get so full so quickly.

No lawn mowers for us, strimmers here

Bright and sunny

Glad having the staples out has made you more confortable Jan. I know what you mean about having to build the appetite up after a hospital stay, both E and I were just the same. Enjoy your nice easy day.

We're off to the cinema to see Snake Eyes this afternoon. Not really my thing, but E's keen and so long as there's plenty of mayhem and action I'll be happy Just doing 'normal' things is lovely. Expect we'll pop into M&S for a few bits afterwards.

It's sunny and warm here today. Got two loads of washing done and out on the line. Been to see D, and had lunch with her.
