Good morning Thursday

Postby meriad » 09 Sep 2021, 07:18

Merry morning everyone

a dull start to the day - we had some drizzly rain overnight; no where near enough to soak the ground but it definitely has cooled things down a lot.

Another usual / usual for me - need to pop to Wickes and Sainsbury's this morning and then a nail appointment at 4pm; then back home for more work to be done.
Nothing else exciting to report

Have a lovely day everyone, hope everyone is keeping well and hope Crommers is doing as well as can be x

Morning Ria, morning everyone

Grey but warm 8-) Supposed to be sunny and warm, we'll see if the cloud goes

Our nice neighbours are coming over :Hi: Ana Cristina has been and cleaned for them, washed the bedding etc, as it's been 19 months since they left, rather hurriedly. They should get here sometime tomorrow morning, so we're leaving keys under the roof tile for them - otherwise they can't get in  Really looking forward to seeing them again.

Popping down to the recycling sometime today and also need to water the plants down by the gate. I'd like to put a few more in, down there, so need to slice off a few from our bigger plants here and stick them in water for a couple of months. They can go in when we've had some decent rain and the ground is a bit softer - like granite at the moment

Hope Crommers had a good nights sleep - take it easy, but don't forget your exercises!

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here and there was lots of rain overnight. Waiting for the supermarket delivery, then Michael and Kellie will be here later.

Hope Crommers had a restful night.

Good morning you two, and everyone :) xx

Have a good day Ria :) Can't remember if I mentioned it, but I bought a kit and lamp to do my own gel nails - plain ones are fine, but I can't manage anything fancy yet :) xx

It will be nice to see your neighbours again Jan :D xx

Have fun with the grandchildren Osc :) xx

Hoping all is going well for Crommers xxx

Well it's our last day here, that week has flown by!! Another rainy day here, but we have our waterproof coats so will be braving the elements ;) Probably going to take the little ferry across the estuary to East Portlemouth, as Fraggle really enjoyed running and playing ball on there the other day. There's a tiny cafe kiosk at the top of the cliff with a spectacular view, so we'll probably stop there for a cuppa :)

Going to pack tonight, so we can get away early to beat the horrendous lunchtime traffic around Bristol.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Another lovely sunny day here 8-)

Hope you had a comfortable night Crommers.
Your day sounds busy Ria.
Enjoy catching up with your nice neighbours Jan.
Have a good last day Kaz.

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday. Got down to the harbour around 1.30ish and stayed down there till gone 5pm. We were nicely cream crackered by the time we got home

I've got an appointment at the hospital for a diabetic blood test at 1.15, expect we'll spend the rest of the afternoon in the garden.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s pouring down here. Finally!

Bill had a long early walk, then I mowed the lawns and tidied the garden when we got back. I walked him again at lunchtime, he probably won’t get one later if the rain carries on, and it was horribly humid. The apps on my phone were saying 94% humidity.

Have a good day all :)
