Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 19 Sep 2021, 07:10

Morning everyone

Bright and sunny morning, with not a breath of wind. Not sure how long that will last though  Been a windy year ;)

Off to Pingo as soon as we've finished our coffee, to get a loto of bulky stuff. We use our water for cooking and boiling, but for drinking water, still buy water, so that's a few 5 litre bottles we get though each week. So a few of those really fill the trolley :cute: We'll get some beer, wine and treat ourselves to half a chicken for breakfast, with some fresh bread.

Not sure what we can do later, although Grumpy still has to do the vacuuming and mopping. I've been reduced to going round the house with the dustpan and brush and wafting it in his face :cute: :cute:

BBQ later, so I'll do the prep for that.

Enjoy your totter, Crommers x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone :)

Enjoy your BBQ Jan :D xx

I hope you get everything done Saundra :) Please don't worry about the 'lurkers' as 99.9% of them will be automated bots, not real people at all, and us admin delete dozens every day. Just been and deleted about 60 that appeared overnight, you can tell they're bots by the user names they try to register with ;) xx

It's sunny here, a beautiful early autumn day :) Mick and I have popped out for a cuppa and the papers, while Becky baths Fraggle, then we're all going round to D's for a family lunch - Jeff Jayne and Chris are going back to Weymouth this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it’s a nice autumn morning here too. We had a lovely evening in Miss Osc’s yesterday, SIL had done an amazing barbecue although we ate inside as it got chilly. I got lovely presents, lots of books, and tickets for myself and Miss Osc to go and see Gary Barlow in November :D My brother stayed the night and we went to the pub next door for brekkie. He’s gone for a walk now and I’ll bring him to the airport later on for his flight to Majorca.

Good morning all.
A beautiful day here, sunny and warm. I hope it is the same for everyone.
That does sound like a lovely evening Osc. Saundra, don't do too much and tire yourself out, take it steady. Enjoy your wafting Jan! Kaz, enjoy that family lunch.
There was a very bright moon here last night. Looking out MrsC saw a cute little hedgehog at the bottom of our drive; and then she saw a fox trotting down the road.
I had a look a little while later and saw the fox flitting out of a garden just down the road - then five seconds later, a second fox trotted swiftly out of the field over the road and went down our street too! Fox central.
I'm not too keen tbh. Some people around here seem to think that foxes are characters out of a Disney film. I don't.
What's Bill like with foxes, Jo? :)
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Another lovely sunny day 8-)

Be sure not to overdo it Jan.
Kaz enjoy lunch with D and the family.
Glad you had a lovely night Osc, lucky you with tickets to see Gary Barlow.

Me neither Crommers.

Loved Strictly last night, it looks a good line up. I will never get fed up with all the sparkle :D :D :D

We did lots of weeding and tidying in the garden yesterday, it was really hot so we both had to jump in the shower afterwards. Still more to do, but our garden bin is overflowing and doesn't get emptied until Tuesday morning so it will have to wait a few days.

No plans today, roast chicken with salad for dinner later, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
