Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 22 Sep 2021, 07:02

Morning everyone

Lovely morning 8-)

Off to Ourique after breakfast, need to get to Nelson's as near to 9.00 as we can as we need salt for the pool and they come in very heavy sacks. Then onto the post office for stamps and money on the phones and then the joy that is Pingo

Pit stop for a coffee on the way back.

Other than that, no plans.

Hope Saundra and Crommers are doing okay this morning xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all. A bit chilly early on but lovely now.
Yes I'm OK thanks Jan. Just been to see the physio and he was happy with me.
One thing I did notice was how quiet the roads were, as MrsC drove me there. It was so much quieter than when I was working. It was even quieter than it used to be in the school holidays.
Steady with those sacks of salt Jan and I hope the nurse turns up soon Saundra.
I'm off for a totter now and a cup of tea after.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, nice autumn day here. Off to the gym this morning, but will go to the chemist for my prescriptions first. This afternoon I’ve to go to the docs to have the 24 hour blood monitor put on. There is ironing to be done but I might do that tomorrow.

I just pay for the sacks Crommers  25kg is far too heavy for me to shift.

According to Odett, we will have thunderstorms and heavy rain this afternoon :Hi: So no pool.

And deep joy, next door have a new puppy  Their boxer died last week, so they got another dog - no idea what yet - yesterday

These door cameras are brilliant Saundra, we don't need them here, no doorbells

Good morning everybody,

There are grey skies and it is cooler.
Finished the ironing after breakfast-- just shirts. Did the rest yesterday afternoon. Then went shoping at Tesco. Have had to buy cereal for grand-daughter
who is coming for the week-end.
Had words with workmen next door. Thwr had tied something to my fence which is on my side of the dividing line. The started work with a digger
at 8.00 a.m Have now got a lorry witha grab picking up the spoil. Have exposed the drain which takes the rain water from the down pipe to the sewer.
Don't know what they are going to do. I am fed up of not being able to park my car outside my house. This hasgone on for over two years
Thsi afternoon I am taking the car for its MOT. There shouldn't be anything wrong.

Have agood day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Hope you get some milk Saundra. The door bell things are brilliant, not much point us having one, it's so quiet here.
Glad the physio is happy with your progress Crommers.
Good luck with the blood pressure monitor Osc.
Blimey Jan, your dog woes just seem never ending.
Gosh, 2yrs Cruiser, what on earth are they building :o

We're driving over to Westwood Cross later, will probably start with lunch in M&S. E wants to upgrade his phone, he's had it for 5yrs and likes the look of some of the newer versions. Mine isn't quite as old, but I'm tempted too so we'll pop into the o2 shop and take a look, they have a few offers on at the moment.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope you got your salt Jan xx

Saundra, we have cameras front and back that sets an alert on Mick's phone when anyone comes to the door, or the side gate, or into the garden. Useful when we're away. Mick installed it after next door were burgled a few years ago. Hope the nurse comes soon xx

I wonder why the roads were so quiet, Crommers! xx

Good luck with the BP monitor Osc xx

Crikey, we wouldn't dream of "replacing" a dog so soon Jan  :? Xx

Good for you standing up for yourself Cruiser! xx

Hope E finds a new phone Jen. Chris has offered me his "old" iPhone 11 when we see him in October, he's upgrading again! :D

I met my friend J for a cuppa this morning. It's another sunny day here, so I pegged out a line of bedding and towels before I went. Had lunch with D, then walked home. The washing is dry and aired - just needs ironing now  :cute:

Love to all xxx

The heavens opened, as Odette said. We had about an inch of rain in half an hour

Molly was not impressed  One very wet and rather angry cat

Hope you sleep okay with the monitor Osc, pesky things.

I hope so too :? It apparently only goes on every hour 11pm-8am. My BP has always been on the low side of normal, but apparently higher BP can be a side effect of the hormone suppressing medication I take. Fingers crossed I don’t have to go on even more medication, but when she took it today it was 150/90 which seems high to me even taking account of “white coat syndrome”.
