Drug dealing in Ourique

Postby JanB » 02 Oct 2021, 10:10

The shock of it all.

And we know him

The news came round last week, but we didn't think we'd know who it was/is.

I twigged it yesterday, when we were chatting outside the bar.

I've just had to tell Mitch, as the guy works for him - make that worked, he's now been sacked, just doesn't know it yet - and prepare him as the GNR may be round to see him.

There's lots of petty drug dealing around these days :? On the park near us there have been arrests, and in the social housing on the back of our estate a tenant was evicted for growing and selling weed! I can often smell it as I walk around the city centre, I don't think the cops take much notice of personal use, they just go after the dealers.

This guy was dealing, they confiscated 160 plants  and other things.

Over here, it's not illegal to have some for your personal use, think 160 plants is a little too much

Ria, Mitchell's reply is unprintable here

When Covid struck Wakefield council gathered up a load of homeless and stuck them in a hotel near the city centre. Result, weed is smoked openly in the precinct and spiceheads etc roam around shouting and bawling. Nary a copper to be seen.

Plenty of evidence of use in our town; those small nitrous oxide cannisters scattered over the road and pavement near us (only previously seen that in the student bedsit quarter near Coventry railway station) and needles found by the riverside in the country park back of our road.

My barber told me a couple of years back that he knew drugs were being dealt from a house opposite where he lives; he reported it to the police, and they simply weren't interested.

A motorbike sits idling on the roundabout near me. A neighbour walks up, there's a fist bump, notes get handed over and small plastic bags go the other way, bike rides off. Happens twice a week.

About two years ago two houses ina long street of terraced houses were raided as they were beingused for growing cannabis,
Tennants never found. This is in what is considered a respectable area.

There is a council estste where there are drug dealers. with news of arrests every month.
So it must happen in every town
