Well that went pretty much as expected.
Daughter went to the surgery and explained that she couldn't ring for an appointment as a) Her phone has conked and b) When she borrowed one to make an appointment the line was permanently engaged.
At first no one even spoke to her, then she was told quite rudely that they were not supposed to make appointments face to face. Why didn't she go away and use a pay phone? And anyway, they were only granting phone consultations, no face to face appointments.
What an utterly rubbish service we are getting in this village.
