We've always known the ruin is registered at 42m2.

So Grumpy measured it earlier and we're missing a bit So we investigated further, by climbing in over a fallen down wall and into what we always thought was next doors field. It's been fenced off, to stop his cows from coming over, but they nicked a bit f ours, as it was easier to do it that way shock:

But before we do anything, like moving the fence, we'll speak to the town hall and get the actual plan for the ruin and also speak to Jose Antonio, to see if we can buy justa little bit more.

We could then make the ruin into a one bedroom, lounge, kitchen, shower room and utility/storage annex

Not at all Kaz, without seeing it, it's difficult to describe. There was a little community here, many years ago, now fallen to rack and ruins

Our ruin backs onto Jose Antonio's and another one. He puts his (huge!) cows in the field, as well as sheep and goats. To stop them from getting into our ruin, he short circuited it a little, saved on fencing. Can quite understand. We think it was done when Mercedes owned this house, so no worries.

He's a lovely bloke. We saw him earlier and he was so concerned that I'd recovered from my "ordeal" - and being in Beja Hospital. It has a dreadful reputation with some people.

And it's only about six feet, squared, but would make a huge difference, if we tried to make it work.
