US Defence signalling and China

Looking at the News today it is clear China feels quite happy with threatening Taiwan. I wondered why because the US keeps a carrier on station to discourage exactly that kind of behaviour.

So I had a look at the Fleet Tracker and found that the Ronald Regan joined the Carl Vincent and then they both left station and headed for the PI. At which point, China started acting up.

The US may be saying they are "very concerned", but their actions are anything but and when the cat is away the mice will play all day long.

It's worth watching.
