Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 08 Oct 2021, 04:19

Good morning.

Still in hot and sunny Nerja. 8-)

We've had a really lovely time. Lots of walking and talking. (I'll put the planned results of said talking on another thread :D )

We finished dinner around 11 last night, got an ice cream and were still walking on the beach gone midnight.
It's the most relaxed I've felt for months.

After breakfast today we'll have a mooch round the old town, another walk on the beach then head off around 2pm.
We pass where Conor lives so we're going to call in and see him and he's taking us out for lunch. :D

Have a good day.

Morning all :D

Dull, overcast but dry.

Glad you've had a lovely time in Nerja Ally.

Appointment at the dentist yesterday went well, she x-rayed it and there isn't inflammation, but the root is a bit exposed. She painted it with a coating to help desensitize it and said to go back if it's still playing up in a few days. It could need antibiotics. Ultimately it will probably have to come out, but because of the root being so close to the membrane it needs to be done by a specialist under sedation. It was still extremely painful eating brekkie, will have to see how it goes.

We were up at silly o'clock again this morning, had an 8.45am appointment with the diabetic nurse. She's pleased with me but decided to check my feet while I was there. Apparently my bad ankle is 'deformed' her word, so she wants me to have it x-rayed again. It's not been looked at since 2018 so probably not a bad idea. Afterwards we popped into town for a few bits then back home to get the washing going. Expecting a Sainsbury's delivery at lunch time.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all.
A lovely one it is too and we look to be set fair for an unseasonably warm day.
Nerja sounds fab Ally. Jen, I hope your dental issues are sorted quickly.
MrsC is off doing the weekend shop. We had Eliza yesterday. She was still recovering from her stinker of a cold and she fell asleep on MrsC's lap for a couple of hours in the afternoon.
She looked so sweet. There is nothing as innocent as a sleeping child.
In a little while I'll go for a walk.
I'm champing at the bit to get driving again but a week on Monday is the earliest that I can, six weeks after the op.
Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everybody.

Went to the surgery this morning as I have been unable to order repeat prescriptions online. I have been locked out for some reason. Saw a lovely young
lady. It took her over 30 minutes before the problem was solved. She could not understand why I was being locked out. Tried it while she was there
and I ahve since tried it here at home on my computer.
Have been to the Post Office to send a sympathy carda nd do some shopping. Am now going to Tesco for some more shopping. Then home for
a rest
The sun is out and it is quite warm
Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon all. Michael and Kellie were in great form yesterday in spite of their extremely late night on Wednesday. Kellie went out like a light when she went to bed at 7.30. Michael had football training 7-8 and then stayed watching the very exciting France -v- Belgium game, so he went to bed a little later than he should, but he slept all night and for the first time ever, I had to wake them this morning! They went off to school and I’ve been a busy bee, tidied around, stripped their beds, remade one (the second one goes in under the other one), Dysoned the house, cleaned the kitchen, booked dinner this evening in the pub next door, made appointments for our flu jabs later in the month, and am now waiting for Miss Osc and SIL to collect the children's’ stuff. Also, Miss Osc is taking our car for the week we are away. I am having a manicure at 4pm and that’s me done, just the toilet bags to put in the cases in the morning. Edward’s back is still sore, but he headed off walking to the golf club and hasn’t come back so he must be ok.

Afternoon everyone. :)

I've been into town to collect some bits for D, then up to see her. Since getting home I've redone my gel nails for the weekend's jaunt, and after dinner will be packing a weekend case. Looking forward to seeing family tomorrow, especially as it will be one of those rate occasions where I have all three of my offspring together 8-)

Early start in the morning, I will try and pop in sometime tomorrow to make sure everything is ok.

Love to all :) xxx
