Whoop whoop

Postby JanB » 28 Oct 2021, 17:08

:Hi: :Hi:

We're getting a new windscreen for the car :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

It's damaged in some way, lots of little stars all over it, which is a right pain when the sun is on it, or at night, with lights from cars coming towards you.

We've asked around and were told it would be anything up to 500€ :o :o

It's being done, next week, here, for 227€ :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Grumpy is dead chuffed.

:| I guess you don't get windscreen cover on your insurance over there, Jan?

It's usually something like £75 excess you have to pay here ...

If we were fully comp, we would, but because the car is 21, almost 22, our insurance guy said it would be a lot cheaper just to be 3rd party. Breakdown cover is standard anyway, so we were happy paying almost 300€ a year less. So we«ve saved almost 1,000€ since we moved insurance companies.
