Good morning Saturday

Good morning.

Nice again. 8-)

A walk first then a swim in the afternoon.

Tonight we're going to get a Chinese takeaway and binge watch The Night Manager.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet, windy but warm 8-)

Off to Ourique after breakfast as we need some cash to pay for the windscreen and a couple of things from a supermarket, but I'll give Pingo a swerve and go to Alentejano instead.

There is also a small market this morning, normally outside, but this morning in the pavilion, a covered area. They do plants, cheeses and artisan type things. A friend has been baking and I've said I'll buy some cake from her. o we'll brave the weather  8-)

Back to do not a lot. Another rubbish nights sleep, awake at 2.00

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
It is dull and trying to rain. Went for the paper in the car. Going to have a coffee and then some housework.

Will be watching TV later.
Have a good day everybody.

Hammering down now, but we managed to miss the worst of it.

Got everything we wanted and some extras too  My friends daughter has been making jewelry, to try and make some money so I bought a necklace from her and also some lovey beetroots from another stall, as well as some rather hot chilli plants

The nerve of the idiot next door :o He came to the bar,to ask Jose if he can borrow some machinery  He, who has never, not once, in 7 years, bought even coffee in there. I know what I'd have told him

Good afternoon all.
Up late this morning, after 10 o'clock.
We have been for a paper and this afternoon will go for a walk on Heath Common, if the rain doesn't return.
Clocks go back tonight.
I hope Jen's pre-op went OK.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, The Night Manager is excellent! Hugh Laurie plays a very convincing “baddy” :D xx

I didn’t sleep too well last night either Jan, probably as it was incredibly stormy outside! xx

Cruiser have a good day :) xx

Saundra it’s the same for D, she’s always taking in parcels for the neighbours xx

That’s right Crommers, an extra hours sleep, if Fraggle lets us  xx

Been to my meeting, a maintain this week, which is ok I suppose. Mick drove B to work as it was absolutely hammering it down, but she’ll have to get the bus home tonight as we’re out for a meal with Em and Dave - The Royal George at Birdlip. It’s a nice place so looking forward to that :) Currently round at D’s but will be off home soon.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Afternoon all :D

It was raining, but the sun's out now 8-)

Ally we loved The Night Manager, as Kaz says, it's excellent.
Sorry you had a bad night Jan x
Good luck with the housework Cruiser.
We rarely have to take parcels in Saundra, mostly oldies like us here.
Thanks for the clock reminder Crommers.
A maintain is always good Kaz.

Yesterday went well, as far as I know anyway. She finished with an ECG so I guess it depends if the anaesthetist is happy. Fingers crossed for Thursday.

Bed change and more washing today, more than enough to keep me busy. Looking forward to Strictly this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s a sunny fresh day here. My brother treated us to breakfast out this morning, and very nice it was too. I had smashed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast followed by a chocolate croissant and lots of Earl Grey tea. Edward and B had the full fry. The place was buzzing, really busy. We came home here for a while then B set off on his journey home. We walked him to the local train station, then went to walk on the pier. We met a friend and were chatting for ages, and eventually our walk consisted of walking the friend to her car and walking home  Settled down for the rest of the day now, reading and maybe knitting.
