Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 02 Nov 2021, 06:20

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 24 degrees which is normal for this time of year.
Yesterday felt like a day in early May so ridiculously warm was it.

I'm off for a walk which will no doubt end up a run.

Don was muttering something about going to IKEA but I'm going to put paid to that nonsense by suggesting some retail therapy at plaza mayor then lunch.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

we can only but dream of 24 degrees Ally, got down to about 2 overnight last night - a decidedly nippy start to the day. But lovely blue skies which make it a perfect autumn morning :D

Another usual / usual for me. Picking up Thomas from college at 12.30 as Nadine is working until 2pm but that's about it for me.

Have a lovely day everyone and Ally enjoy the retail therapy and lunch x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Cloudy this morning and a little chilly at the moment, but it will warm up 8-)

Washing machine working away and Ana Cristina will be up sometime with eggs, as her chickens have decided to start producing again

I was asked out to the coast today, but declined. Being stuffed in the back of a camper, with two other people and a dog isn't my idea of fun. I'm sure they'll have a great time anyway and I'll hear all about it tomorrow 8-)

General pootling for today :D

Have good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

A lovely bright morning here, but cold.
MrsC has gone to the hairdressers. When she gets back we'll go to the supermarket for all the things we forgot to get last Friday.
24c - what a lovely thing!
Jan, it wouldn't be my idea of fun either.
Seeing the physio again tomorrow but for today a nice walk after getting well wrapped up.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s chilly out there but bright and sunny. It was even chillier when I left the house just after 7.30 to bring the car to the garage. A couple of years ago, the passenger side front panel scraped along a wall it didn’t like (my fault entirely  ) and when it was serviced recently, the garage said I should get it fixed as otherwise the car is in perfect nick - they gave me a very acceptable quote and I decided to go ahead. It’s about 10 minutes from the garage to the station to get the train home, so I had a walk as well ;) Plenty to do, ironing top of the list. A local woman who does a lot of work with homeless people is calling at some stage to collect a bag of clothes I have for her. I’m sure I’ll find other things to do :? Edward has gone to play golf.

Morning all, sorry for the silence. I’ve got the cold from hell. I’ve tested negative so know it’s not that but I’ve been sneezing and feeling awful since Saturday. No idea where I’ve got it from, I usually catch colds which have been brought into the house by one of the others but they’re all fine.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Hope your cold eases Jo.

I'm off to the hairdresser this afternoon. I was due to go next week, but changed it, definitely don't want to leave it for another 7 weeks or so. I've deliberately booked a day Jo isn't working, she's a great hairdresser, but it's chaos when she's there. Her daughter Milly will do it, not sure what the blow dry will look like, but so long as it's cut and coloured I can deal with the rest.

Just had a text with my Covid test result, Negative, phew one less thing to think about.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody.
It was raining when i got up but there is now somw blue sky.
Have managed t paint the two fence posts at the front again. Some more panels are being delivered tomorrow.
Will then have to phone the fencing contactor to arrange a date when he can come to remove the old concrete posts and fit
the new plastic ones ad the panels. He will also take all the rubbish away. This will mean I will not need a skip

After lunch I am going to start ironing the washing which was done yesterday.
Have a good day everybody
