Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cool start, with yet another stunning sunrise 8-) Misty in the valleys and we can't see the Algarve hills this morning.

Ironing for me, as well as keema curry making and waiting for a phone call from the meo bod. Sometime this morning, hopefully. They rang me yesterday, just to confirm - again

Depends on the wind and how we're feeling, we might pop down to the bar, we might just sit outside in the sun with a beer 8-)

Hope you're feeling okay this morning Kaz xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull, dreary and cold here. I’ve just done the ironing so feeling rather saintly  We get our boosters tomorrow, so I want to have very little to do just in case I have a reaction. Off to the gym shortly and out dancing tonight.

Good afternoon all.
We have been to Sainsburys. it was really busy.
Need to get the prescriptions taken in and a lottery ticket for tonight.
It isn't as cold as yesterday here, thank the Lord, but we'll need the heating on soon anyway. It is very grey and dull.
Saundra, our local chemist is a Lloyds, and they are having problems with a new computer system.
Jan, I hope the wind drops!
Kaz, hope your arm is not giving you as much gyp today. Was it the Pfizer booster that you had?
Have a good day all, keep warm.

Hi all *waves*

Yesterday I had an eventful morning  . We had snow, not loads but it was also below zero so…. anyway I got the car out of the garage to go to aquafit, got out of the car to close the garage door, turned back and the car was sliding towards me :o First instinct was to try stopping it, but the bumper rammed into my calf. It seemed ok so I got in the car and off I went, chatting to the ladies at aqua and they advised I go to the gp, by now it was swollen and hot. I got dressed (yep I was poolside by this time, but we’d not started the class) sat in the drs for an hour, she saw me and advised keeping my leg raised with an ice pack on, - some day off!!! It's much easier today but still painful....the ice pack wasn't welcome as it was so cold yesterday!! But when the bruise comes out it will be huuge - all over the side of my right calf! Next time I'll be sure to reverse far enough up the slope of the drive so that the back wheels are on the flat......

Today I have been to town, much more productive! Actually bought some C pressies! Decs will be put up hopefully this weekend although I'm working tomorrow, maybe Tom will do the tree?? I'm so OCD about baubles, it's safer if I don't do it. Oh and he sold his car on Saturday so we have been a one-car family this week, it does work as luckily I don't usually need a car for work, it's the occasions I'm sent to cover other branches where it gets a bit tricky.....so today he's been out looking for another, and he's bought exactly the same (a Vauxhall Zafira!) only difference is it's a petrol one not diesel and 3 years younger than the last one, it's even the same colour!!

I had no side effects after my booster, hope you're better soon Kaz xx

Hello all!

Thanks for the thoughts, I had a rough night with a stinking headache and very sore arm, but have improved as the day has gone on. Just tired now. Still I had to go into town with Harry, as he had an appointment at the Job Centre, to sign off on his JSA. He starts at Tesco tomorrow, fingers crossed everything goes well.

Hoping for a quiet evening.

Ooh ouch Gal! I hope your leg is better soon ((((((x))))))

We have a Zafira  Charcoal grey!
