Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun and clouds and a little warmer this morning. A balmy 17C later 8-)

Looking forward to that too Ally :D

Waiting for the meo man again, they rang yesterday and said he was very delayed - I'll say  - so will be with us this morning.

Inbetween, we'll get the cleaning out of the way and then meeting friends at the bar later.

Hope Kaz had a good night x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, bright but windy out there and it looks cold. We are getting our boosters at 11.15, then we’ll pop in to see Edward’s sister and her hubby in their new apartment. If there is time after that, we’ll try and get to some of Michael’s football match on our way home. Then we’ll be taking it easy for the rest of the day, I’ll start on the Christmas cards, which can be done sitting down :)

Watch out if they show his funeral. It was in our local church as he lived nearby. He was carried to the church from a certain spot, which was a huge tribute as that is normally only done for true locals, but he used to jam with musicians in the pub next door to our previous house and was well respected. Oh, and Leslie Crowther stood on Miss Osc’s foot in the shop near the church

Good morning all.
Sunshine and showers here atm.
We are expecting a wine delivery this morning.
Ally, I went to see Thin Lizzy in the mid 70's at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester. The were supporting Bachman Turner Overdrive, believe it or not. Thin Lizzy were great, they blew BTO off the stage, as the saying was.
Our son may be calling later with Fred the dog.
I hope your tech man turns up Jan, and that Kaz had a better night. Good luck with you booster Osc.
Have a good day all.

A very nice young man has been and gone and we now have Portuguese tele.

He's Romanian, worked as a bar manager in Albuferia, got fed up with the drunks and now travels about 300 - 400 kms six days a week and loves it.

Good afternoon everybody.
It is raining with strong winds.
Went to town to postcards, some to America. The Post Office is in WH Smiths, Found this is closing today. The PO should have been open
but no one had turned up. It is moving to a new location in a shopping arcade.
When I came home I went in the car to the local Post Office. Have had to buy some more cards which I will post on Monday.
Now just relaxing, keeping warm.
Ally A large parcel of sunshine would be useful.

Afternoon all :)

Thin Lizzy were great :D xx

I'm absolutely fine now, thanks for asking :D :D Didn't get to SW this morning, B is working this weekend and I wanted to be here to make H a good breakfast and see him off to his first shift at Tecso! Hopefully it's going well. Mick and I had brunch at Correttto's, we took Fraggle in his new buggy, I did giggle at Mick pushing him in it

Chilli con carne for dinner tonight, it's a freezing cold day here!

Love to all xxx

I'm glad that you are better now Kaz.
The weather here is absolutely foul.
We've had heavy sleet, and just now hail stones. They are piled up on the ground.
