Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 27 Dec 2021, 07:02

Good morning.

The days are speeding and blending by so quickly it could be MoWedSatday for all I know.

Sunny and forecast 22 degrees so a nice long walk will be enjoyed. :D

We had a nigh on four hour Zoom call with all 3 boys last night. My tummy hurt from laughing.

A planned day of reading and relaxing. :D

A Masterchef Sleb thing tonight and A Very British Scandal. Anything with Paul Bettany in it is fine by me.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, everyone.

Dull, foggy and pretty miserable here. No breeze to move it on so it looks set for a while.

Good to hear about the Zoom meeting.

I think that I will be reading as well seeing as the TV is so bad. It could be a Netflix evening.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning everybody.

Another dull day with grey clouds.
Back to normal. I will be ironing later as I have a pile of washing done.

Will relax this afternoon.
Vibes for those that need them

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Another grey, wet and mild day. Hopefully, this will be our last day of it and back to normal tomorrow. The latter part of the week and the week-end look good 8-)

Another lazy day. I did manage to get outside for an hour or so, to pick up a load of acorns for Jan's pigs yesterday and if the rain holds off, I'll be digging outthe nasty weeds I'm trying my best to get shot of, on the "lawn".

And then reading.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally this week always feels like a week of Sundays to me  xx

Frank the telly hasn’t been much cop, has it? I think Call The Midwife is all I have really enjoyed, although I do have both Ghosts and Around the World in 80 Days saved on the player xx

Hope you have a good day, Cruiser xxx

Watch out for rogue squirrels Jan! ;) xx

Mick and I are currently sat under the awnings outside Corretto’s, in the pouring rain with the heater on  Not sure if we’re mad or brave, but we fancied some fresh air - and it doesn’t get much fresher than this! :x  Picking B up from the station in about half an hour, then the day’s our lobster 8-) Mick has most of the time off from now until the 4th, apart from a few hours on Thursday :D Harry has three more Tesco shifts after today’s as his temp contract ends on Saturday. This computer course will be very time consuming so he won’t be wanting them to extend it.

Have a good day everyone:) xxx

Good afternoon all.
An outstandingly foul day here today. Grey, damp, cold and foggy. The only people out and about are the hardy dog walkers.
Kaz and WM, yes the tv has been a bit hit and miss. Jonathan Creek repeats have been showing on the Drama channel, we have been enjoying them.
Enjoy your day out Jo. Jan I hope your weather picks up. We are going to have a relaxing afternoon too Cruiser. How I envy you your warmth Ally!(I may have mentioned this in passing before now!).
Hopefully Jen will have recovered from the boys' visit yesterday!
I am going out for a walk now. It looks awful but i need some fresh air.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

We had a lovely day with the boys. Elijah is now a fraction taller than Zachery and they're both taller than Z  needless to say the only one smaller than me is Noah, goodness knows how long that will last  Early mornings obviously don't suit us these days, we were so cream crackered after they left we both fell asleep watching the box

Great granddaughter Charlotte is 5 today, it doesn't seem possible, the years really are flying by. We haven't been able to see Hannah and the girls for nearly 2 years now so keeping fingers tightly crossed they can visit again sometime this year.

Only just having brekkie after a nice long lie in. Absolutely no plans for today. We'll be having cold turkey, pickles and bubble and squeak for dinner this evening, yummy.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Afternoon all, weather not too bad, although I haven’t been further than the local shops. Edward went to play golf with his friend and the friend’s sons. To his great delight, he scored his first ever hole-in-one! Normally he would have to buy drinks all around, but the club bar is closed!

For some reason neither my phone nor my iPad will connect to the internet- both showing as connected but actually not. Edward’s iPad is fine, so I don’t know what the problem is, hopefully he can fix it when he gets home. I’ve tidied around and made enough pasta sauce for today and tomorrow.
