Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 30 Dec 2021, 07:16

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 23 degrees. 8-)

We're off for a coastal walk this morning. A good 16km from the start of the golf course right to beyond the lighthouse at Benalmadena. :D

Mercadona this afternoon to get some party food in for tomorrow night. :x

TV tonight.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny, but still a little chilly.

Washing out, another on the go and that means I'm all caught up with the washing :Hi: Just have the ironing to do now

Not sure what we'll be doing today, will have a think after breakfast. Might have a wander around the garden again, digging up unwanted weeds. One I dug up the other day was almost the size of a dustbin lid   They give beautiful flowers, but the stem gets very thick and a big of a pain to strim - so off with their heads

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning! :)

Ally, a walk in the sunshine sounds like heaven 8-) It's been so dark and wet here, even some winter sunshine would do   xx

You know what they say, Jan, about a weed being a flower in the wrong place..... :x  xx

It should be a quiet day today, B and B are back at work, and Mick is covering for a few hours, for a colleague who needs to go and see his mum. So I will get on with some much-needed housework, then get out for a walk :) I am tempted to take the tree down, but when I suggested it last night I got outcomes :x We'll see though

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

There's this strange blue stuff up above and it has some white fluffy bits floating around in it.

Odd, but quite nice.

I am awaiting a call from Scottish Power sometime between 9 to 11, so they say. If it does not resolve the issue then I take the complaint to the Energy Ombudsman.

I paid a bill within minutes of the email informing me of the amount, out of hours BTW, six minutes later I got another email telling me that if the bill was not paid "immediately" recovery action would be taken. War is pending.

Not doing much else.

Have a good one everybody.

Hi all - yesterday I decided to defrost my integrated freezer, once done and dried down I switched it back on, and nothing happened!! Of all the days!!! Frantic phoning round to see if it could be repaired....I'm expecting a guy out shortly who suspects it may be the thermostat to blame as the light is still coming on in the fridge which suggests power is getting through. Hopefully he'll be able to fit a new one and that'll be that! Fortunately I have a small freezer in the garage but it's pretty full so I've done a re-jig and hopefully will last until we have a working one again!

We'd been invited to my sister's for tea last night so it meant no cooking, not sure what we'll do tonight but hopefully everything that was in the fridge will still be fresh. I'd put some freezer stuff inside the fridge and this morning most of the ice cubes were still frozen!

Stay safe everyone xx

Morning all :D

Looks like it's starting to brighten here.

Hoping the rain stays away, we're popping out to M&S after brekkie. Want to look at their NY meal deal, we fancy something nice for dinner this Saturday. Not planning to be there too long, just a quick visit as we have the washing on the go, doing it a day early again this week.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Morning all not good here either
Very annoyed in fact was upstairs nearly dressed and hear a voice shouting me ?
It's a district nurse come to give me a b12 injection
So I tell her I don't have it she goes down stairs asks to,see my notes then racks through the cupboard me telling her I don't have it so now iv,rung my chemist who is going to sort it out must calm down neighbour let her in by for now
Can I start today again calmed down now it wasn't a very good day yesterday as Scarlett had been sick the night before she came her mum looked not well she had worked 6 days in a row and I was tired so it was a bit subdued but she has 11days of now so will be ok and J had gone back to work to after looking after Scarlett he said she is heard work
They have tho problem looking after Scarlett in school holiday like all parent and she is very independent so battle of wills right to sort the kitchen out pressies away and keep calm

Afternoon all, it’s dull, dreary and a bit mizzley here, but extremely mild, doesn’t feel natural. We are planning lunch in the pub next door as we are going to see West Side Story later, with my sister. Edward is expecting a parcel and of course, don’t you just know it is going to be delivered while we are at the cinema  The pub will take in for us though. I have a wash on, did all the ironing yesterday and what is being washed now won’t need ironing. I’ve been to the post office to do a few things, it was busy there.

Absolutely gorgeous out there now 8-)

I've filled one huge green bag with mostly lavender and about three buckets of normal weeds, chucked over the fence for the sheep.

We really need to strim, but don't have petrol   so that will have to wait until next week. So looking forward to strimming, as I wasn't able to do it earlier in the year.

Might persuade Grumpy to pop down the bar, for a beer. Not had one all week and think I deserve one or two 8-)
