Another sunny day in the mid 20s.

A quick last 2021 run then home to bacon rolls. One with Daddies sauce and one with Ketchup.

We're hosting a party tonight to celebrate New Year. I've got the grapes ready to be scoffed at midnight. 12 for each chime....I had to buy six punnets.

Another lovely sunny morning. Still chilly, we go down to single figures at night but low 20's again today

Not a lot to do today, might be able to rake over the flower beds, to semi get rid of the weeds, might still be too wet.

No party here, we'll be in bed by 10.00

Well, a quick check on work emails and everything lovely and quiet and as our US office is closed today it won't (well shouldn't) get busy either

Ally enjoy that bacon roll, you make me fancy one as well now; yum!
Jan, we're out at a friend for dinner tonight otherwise I'd be in bed at 10pm as well

Well, a very dull and wet day here so just a bit of general pootling to be done and I may try fit in an afternoon snooze just because I can and it's the right weather for it . Karl will come pick me up around 6ish I assume and then we'll head over to our friends for dinner.

Morning all.

It is very mild with broken clouds and hardly any breeze..

A final good clean up will be underway shortly so that I can wake up to a spic and span home on New Year's day.

I am going to do a hearty chicken curry for the evening meal with vegetable rice, naan, and poppadoms. Once that is over I will sit down with a good single malt and watch Day of the Jackal then out on the green for one last glass of mulled wine with the neighbours to catch Big Ben and then bed.

After a dull start and rain in the night the sun has come out with lots of blue sky.
Not doing much today.
May stay up to let the New Year in if I can stay awake. I will be on my own so may reore early and read my book.
My days of partying are over.
