The 12 year old next door has it, the 21 year old girl opposite too and Emma down in the corner, she’s a primary school teacher, had it the week before Christmas.

Just watching this Paul McCartney docu-series on Disney+ (not The Beatles one which we watched the other week) and it’s recent, I thought he looked in good nick and curiosity got the better of me so I Googled his age. 79…80 in June!!
That’s my mind blown for tonight.

Mrs O's niece has tested positive - the problem is, she had a bad reaction to her first jab back at the start of the year, in that it caused a massive flare-up of an underlying health condition she has. So she was advised not to have any more Covid jabs. So far, so has only had mild symptoms; we are hoping it does not deteriorate into anything worse. Her 10yo daughter has also tested positive now.

My S's neighbour in Birmingham has caught it as well. She has had a bit of contact with him and his missus, so she is keeping her fingers crossed she hasn''t been infected too.

It’s more the fact that he’s 80 next birthday Jan. In my mind he’s only in his 40s (but then also in my mind I’m still a teenager so…. )

Just about to watch the semi final of The Voice Portugal. We have a young lad from Ourique - who looks awful but has the most amazing voice - and a young girl from Fuzeta, where we used to live.

Get this for being so bloody thoughtless.

John is obviously off work this week and he received a text from Bob, one of the draughtsmen in his department, this evening just saying ‘got Covid’. John was moaning saying that he’ll probably get the blame, although he had no symptoms last Wednesday and Thursday while in work and had tested negative before leaving the house both mornings.

Shortly after the text arrived John’s apprentice phoned. He said that Bob, who travels by bus which takes an hour each way, had come into work and was coughing and sneezing and he was worried that the rest of the department were going to catch it. He then sent John a photo he’d taken of Bob with his head down on the desk. He said he’d spent the afternoon like that, inbetween coughs and sneezes, before getting the bus home.

Oliver said that he and the others kept telling him to go home but he wouldn’t. How can someone (and Bob and his wife are total hypochondriacs and he’s chosen to work from home whenever he can to reduce the risk of catching it in the office) be so unaware after the last two years.

Every time  Every single time I weed around the dagger yuccas, they get me.

Every time

I'm always as careful as I can be, but every single blasted time I get near one, it bites back

Three times today and one went straight in my arm and is now quite painful  We have some evil stuff, which fizzes when you put it on a cut  That stung and although it's a little swollen, I'll be a brave soldier.

And have another wine :Hi: :Hi:

Jo, I'd be a little bit suspicious of someone who was so ostentatious about their coughing and spluttering. Cynical I know.
