Afternoon everyone :)

It's bitterly cold here today, but I was nice and snug out and about in my new "teddy bear" coat! I certainly have the figure of a cuddly toy at the moment, after the Christmas excess :cute:  It will be *interesting*, getting on the scales at SW tomorrow :P   I walked into town to get bananas and Marmite - both essential items in our house, but somehow I forgot when I did the big shop yesterday :cute: Popped in for a cuppa with D on the way home. Not stiff this morning, which surprised me after getting back to Pilates last night.

Not sleeping properly is horrible, so (((((hugs)))) Jan and Ria xxx

Happy Birthday to Z, Jen :D xx

Love to all :) xxx

Stiff and sore Jen. I think it may be a little better, hopefully so. Poor E, fingers crossed that he gets an appointment and a bit of progress.

Well, I was wrong about the excitement being over. We have since been to daughter's to drop some shopping off, to son's to drop his gf's presents off as it is her birthday tomorrow, and then we've been back to Sainsbury's again! We had a text from Sergio's wife Judith asking if we were going as she was short of a couple of things Sergio likes. Sergio has been a good neighbour to us so we went. Judith would go but she's worn out. She had to call the nurses out in the night as Sergio had fallen again, plus Sergio likes her there all the time. He is very frail now but he must have a marvelous constitution.

We need a new car seat for Eliza, it's taking MrsC ages to get her strapped into the old one.

Such a problem for Sergio and his ex wife, well done for helping Crommers xx Horrible situation.

Well, it's going down to 3 or 4C tonight and for the next month or so :cute: :cute: so I've nicked the blanket off one of the spare beds and put it on ours. Hopefully, we'll sleep a little better. Just means that if I can't sleep, I'll head to another bedroom, wrapped in my dressing gown, take his to cover me and also nick the bedspread of the spare rooms

The only heating we have are open (log burners) fires and oil filled radiators, as is normal over here. The houses are built for the heat, but we all suffer in the cold

A lovely afternoon, at the bar. Odette is so happy to be seeing her grandson tomorrow, for his 2nd birthday. David came, Rita is still positive and then Chris and Lucy turned up. Mitchell was down in the Algarve, as he think he has a problem with his hip. Sciatica Mitch, sciatica. But he won't listen and is paying a fortune to be told something else

Grumpy will be watching the footie, I'll try, but might go to bed early. And then wake up early  :cute:

The hospital rang, I was getting the beers, Lucy answered, she speaks no Portuguese apart from Bom Dia   but they rang back and I was able to sort it.

All change for next week, my hospital appointment has been changed from 9.00am on Tuesday to 11.00am on Wednesday. Suits us much better :D

Sleep well Ria xx
