She is a big mate of Alastair Campbell, so maybe not.

Boris' fate is ultimately in the hands of the Conservative Party. They will either back him or sack him. Regarding Dominic Cummings, he is an embittered man who wants to bring down an elected Prime Minister for his own personal pleasure. Yes, Boris Johnson has given him the means to do it, but Cummings is an unsavoury individual who needs to be avoided at all costs. I doubt anyone in any Government would risk being associated with Cummings now or employing him as an advisor.

Ah but he says he's a much better choice, methinks he's a hypocrite!!

BREAKING: Nobody warned me drinks event was against rules - PM

You made the freakin' rules, bonehead, so you should have known when and how to break them! It was your duty to us all to know what was going on in your work domain - household. You are the boss, but only when it suits - allegedly.

Rumours abound that the Rubicon is about to be crossed as far as no confidence letters are concerned. The Johnson's performance at tomorrow's PMQs might well be the decider.

Also, it is now confirmed that Demonic Cummings will be interviewed by Sue Gray's inquiry, that could well tip the balance if he actually does have the concrete evidence, as he claims.

And Kier's work event? Or do you conveniently ignore that one?

No. But it's apples and pears and Starmer is neither in No10 nor the PM nor making the rules, and I have never voted for his lot.

Boris looked crushed during his interview with Beth Rigby today and Beth takes no prisoners so she didn't let him off the hook during the interview. However, seeing her on Sky news this evening she had picked up on how discomforted Boris looked and how sorry he was when she brought up the subject of the party on the evening before Prince Philip's funeral. Whatever happens over the next few days, weeks, or even months, I do truly believe he regretted that as much as any other criticism levelled at him. All the bluster and bravado had gone but I hope he gets some of it back before PM's questions on Wednesday. The knives will be out and it will be an unpleasant sight if Boris is unable to haul himself off the ropes.

As for Cummings, the fact that he is getting so much pleasure from instigating Boris' downfall just makes me despise him even more. More than likely he was the school bully.

Nobody likes Cummings. He in known as Gollum for a reason. Having said that he is doing what many of us would do if we felt we were wronged and later had a chance of revenge. Not nice, probably unforgiveable, but understandable.
