Well most of the day has gone meaning all of you will already have done what you were doing so I hope it all went well.

The clouds are grey and look very angry and they are scudding by even though there is little wind at ground level.

I have put a slow cooker chicken chasseur on - four portions. I did a quick roast of what was left on the carcass and with some other save bones I have a big pan of chicken broth on the go.

And just as I was about to post - KABOOM! - and the heavens have opened.

Enjoy your evenings.

Saundra, I’m not sure but don’t think tea counts towards liquid intake, I think they mean water.

Yes I know osc but plain water is awfull
Unless it's summer time
It's like soup is classed as food
But I call it liquid
My diabetic nurse told me ages ago to drink a glass of water every hour from 8in a morning till 7at night
That I couldn't do

Osc, as a DVT sufferer on control drugs my leaflets say tea, coffee, herbal infusions and 100% plain fruit and vegetable juices, (commutated or fresh pressed) so long as no added sugar / sweeteners, count as 'fluid intake' but no more than 150ml in any one day for the juices. Skimmed milk, in tea or coffee, also counts. I drink full milk at 4%, but I am a rebel. ;)

My minimum is supposed to be 1.25ltr (2 pints) per day. I cover it with loads of black coffee and a couple of glasses of juice and a glass of milk. Saundra could do the same.

I hardly ever drink water, just gallons of decaff tea with skimmed milk, and am very well hydrated. It does count ;) No coffee, no fizzy, hardly ever any booze, except at social events.

Drink more tea, Saundra, at lest two pints per day - six mugs, eight or nine cups, you'll be OK.
