Utilities

We keep hearing about price increases but we have just received a £249 credit ,no idea why.

We were with Green Energy which went bust, Uswitch changed us to EDF who kept us at our £70 p.m., then increased it to £82 a few months back, not a problem.

Now the refund,we have contacted them to ask why/ how we have had this but no reply so far.

chances are your account was in credit when EDF took over; so the administrators who dealt with the wind up / down of Green Energy would have had to refund you that money
