Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 30 Jan 2022, 07:06

Good morning.

Lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Off for my walk....penultimate day of my challenge.

When I get home Conor should be here as he's coming over to watch Nadal in the tennis final.
I'll make us all bacon and egg rolls. :D

Birmingham City v Derby on the box so I'll be subjected to twice the shouting and cussing.

Roast chicken tonight and DOI. See you later, Kaz. ;) :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather grey this morning, but we're expecting another warm day 8-)

Off to Pingo soon, they're having a no IVA day (vat) Most of it runs at 23 per cent so it makes sense to stock up on things beer, wine, water

Not sure what we'll do later, apart from a proper cooked breakfast. My back was telling me enough yesterday, so might have a day off weeding.

Having a bbq later, pork steaks, entremeadas, sausages and some sort of potato side dish.

Big election day today, so will be keeping the news on.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone

Wowzer Jan, that is quite an impressive saving; that's excellent. Enjoy the day and the BBQ later
Ally, well done on the challenge. Have a fab day also and enjoy your dinner

lazy start to the day for me, only got up just before 9. It's a beautiful sunny, but icy morning. I was at the allotment yesterday and did a bit of tidying but there's not much to be done at the moment because I didn't plant any winter veg last year. So have a good few weeks yet to get everthing ready for this year. I need to head over to Sainsbury's at some point and may head over to Karl and the kids for dinner, not sure what their plans are.

Have a lovely day everyone, enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Only because the prices have sky rocketed  Some things have doubled and most seem to have an extra euro on them  Although the brandy was the same price

Good morning all.
A bright and sunny morning here; cold though. All the dog walkers are well muffled up. It is supposed to get windy later on.There was frost on the car first thing.
A bit of a NALGO day. Not a lot going on.
Roast chicken for dinner and watching some cricket later on the tv.
Ally, I could murder a bacon and egg roll!
Jan, well done on the savings. We a have already started going to Aldi and B&M for some items instead of Sainsbury's.
Ria, they do say that you can't buy them as well as you can grow them (veg).
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everybody.

It was lovely and sunny when I got up at 7.00 a.m but grey clouds are coming over. Just pootling today
There are some branches which have blown off a tree in a neighbour's garden lying on the lawn. Will have to stay there until it gets
warmer before I cut them up and but them in the gree garden waste bin.
Bacon rolls are delicious. I have stopped having them. I like thick slices of bacon. It now all seems to be thin slices in pre-packed
plastic bags. Also I am not eating bread as it has sugar in it. It helps to keep my blood/sugar level normal.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it looks pleasant enough outside. We’re watching golf from Dubai, beautiful blue skies and warmth there! Another lazy day for us (no change there :) ) I am a bit headachey and Edward has what we think is a pulled abdominal muscle - he was doing a job on the roof the other day, stretching over from the terrace, sometimes he forgets what age he is  I have almost finished a jigsaw, and there is reading and crochet to be done. Dancing with the Stars Ireland and Call the Midwife tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Ally you've made my mouth water, bacon and egg rolls, yummy :D
Great saving Jan, wish we had a no vat day here.
You can't beat home grown veg Ria, it's not something I've ever been successful at, but my stepfather often brought us some when he and my Mother came for Sunday dinner.
Fierce winds are forecast for some areas, hope it avoids yours Crommer.
Like you I avoid bread along with most carbs Cruiser, they play havoc with the blood sugar levels.
Hope your headache clears and Edward takes it a bit easy Osc.

We've had a nice lie in, just having brekkie/lunch. Planning an easy day, rotisserie chicken with veggies for dinner later, chocolate blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

It’s a beautiful day here! Brunch out at Corretto’s with Fraggle - looking very smart in his new hooded jumper  I nipped into the Quays shops and got H a lovely new shirt- it’s his 22nd birthday on Tuesday! Now round at D’s helping her decide on new curtains, and making sure she orders the right fittings ;) Home soon, we’re having lamb chops and veggies for dinner later :) DoI and Call the Midwife later! Perfect Sunday night telly! I will catch Good Karma Hospital on the itvhub at some point later 8-)

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone xxx
